There is no earthly reason for any civilian to own an automatic or semi-automatic weapon, in my opinion.

This week I dipped into a couple of Australian films I'd been hankering to see for the first time in a couple of decades: Nicholas Roeg's Walkabout and Peter Weir's The Last Wave. Such solid atmosphere in both, and I'd like to follow those up with more, but I think all I have here is Picnic at Hanging Rock. I'll watch that for diversion, then see what else I can find. I remember going to Phillip Noyce's Rabbit-Proof Fence and liking it enough, so I'll have to see what's available on that.
DR vixmom, last night I was watching the battle between the Ohio gorilla Jim Jordan and Dr Fauci, and I wonder if your charming client yesterday may be a Jordan relative.
About the shooting that Tom mentioned last night, I found this article on CNN:

Well that FED EX center is where my nephew met his idiot bitch of a wife - they were working together. She is 19 years OLDER than he is and completely out of her mind.
She alienated him from his family and none of us - his parents and sisters included - are welcome to talk to him or see him....and they are not on social media that we can see.
He got another job a year ago.....but quit.....details are boring.... She claims she has numerous diseases....including fibro myalgia, myolema, bi-polar, etc etc etc.
We think after he quit his job he went back to FedEx.....but we don't know. So we wait.....
My sister confirms to me that my nephew works in a FedEx location in a downtown hotel......that's the last information we all have from about a year and half ago....so I would guess that he is fine.

Walkabout is amazing.

Typo alert. It’s Gym Jordan.
I am glad that the opera CD is selling well....I listened to one of the clips and it was entertaining.....but since I don't know the source material, I'm not sure if I would enjoy listening to it.....but then again.....I might.

I don't think Annabelle is ready to leave DR elmore3003, but I can sure see her sporting a diamond choker!

Gym Jordan just needs to go away. :P
BTW, the Colombe play title is correct in the booklet.
I know. I did the blurb in a hurry and I don't want to make Doug change that. I have the American Anouilh play here.
The person I was talking to was furious because I hadn’t collected paperwork from her insurance company, her current lender, her cooperative board, her cooperative management company and her bank.
In other words she thought she just had to say I want a loan and we should track down all her paperwork for her application
Back from the car place and the motor car is running fine again, thank goodness! Dear reader Jeanne is achy but happy it's not worse. I've ordered an omelette from Hugo's, which is on its way, and now I have to drive 50 miles before I can do the smog check next week. But tomorrow will be a good start driving to the commentary location in Hollywood. That should take care of twenty of the fifty.
I am feeling better today. I no longer hobble across the apartment like a drunken sailor and am more comfortable overall.
Thanks again for all the vibes.

Have spent most of the afternoon organizing the Indiegogo perks list, so that's well on its way. Another day or two will finish that.

That sounds wonderful Jane!
I am quite jealous of Laura, Ginny and Jane and their grandma status
Good news from DR Jane.
We've got good new going on here at HHW!
It just happens that in another month or so I'll be talking with my own mortgage company about a refi.
So now that I know vixmom is such a great resource, and helpful to boot, I'll have them contact her to get all the necessary paperwork together posthaste.
Of course not so much for DR Vixmom ;):D
I hope that made sense
Tomorrow we are shooting for 80+.
Oh TCB they should also be able to tell you your monthly payments
But she can finish TCB's first. He is, after all, ahead of me in line.
Will you be able to refi?
Well, I must be off. My sister's boyfriend got them some food from the local restaurant Casa Mia, and they got me a manicotti/cannelloni sampler (essentially, one each), and now I'm going to my sister's to have dinner. :)
Be back later.
Tomorrow we are shooting for 80+.
Wow! Correction: 82 degrees tomorrow here in Puyallup.
Will you be able to refi?
All the paperwork is finished, so once they answer my questions, it should be a done deal.

Great news, Tom!
