I had a strange dream in which I was doing two things at the same time. I cannot remember npow what one of them was, but I do remember it was something like a rehearsal, work on a project, something I generally do when I'm working. The other thing I was doing - which is so bizarre - was cooking Italian sausage with onions and peppers, something I have never made in my life.
it's been a barren week.

I don’t know if the library has that. But I wouldn’t mind seeing it.
Bel Biv Devoe is on the free stage at the State Fair today.
BK is at least as dashing and debonair as Ben Gazzara.
Regarding BK's marrying Audrey Hepburn in his dream in the Notes:
In this era where the likes of Emily Blunt married the likes of John Krasinski, and the likes of Scarlett Johansson married the likes of Colin Jost, the possibility of the likes of Audrey Hepburn marrying the likes of BK doesn't seem far-fetched.
Audrey and Ben Gazzara had a bit of a thing during They All Laughed.

Cat is also curious about what is far-fetched about Emily Blunt being married to John Krasinski. Is it the fact that one is British and the other American, or is there something odd about the pairing that the cat is not seeing?
So what you're saying is:
You just washed your hair, and now you can 't do a thing with it?

That's a good point, too.
Would you see anything unexpected about the pairing of Scarlett Johansson with Colin Jost? Or going back some years, Anne Bancroft with Mel Brooks?
And a five-pound box of cremini mushrooms.

Just before the alarm rang, I was dreaming about my friend Peter Foley who had been suffering for maybe the past ten years with an eye tumor that killed him three years ago. Peter had been one of my copyists at Toyland, and in the dream we were working on a concert of something - maybe his own music? - and he returned to me my miniature score for Britten's Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra, which was slightly wet because he had just washed his hands. I was telling him something like "You could have returned it soaking wet if it meant you were with us again" when the alarm rang and woke me. I'm a bit melancholy at the moment.
You need this hippopottoman.

Some singer named Maggie Rogers is doing a "concert" on the Today Show from Paris.
She's pretty bad - she's got that whine/yodel thing in her voice on certain words. That drives me crazy!

They both seem to be acting quite normal today, thanks. :)
I'm still marveling at the fact that I am using my computer and not wearing glasses.

Sometimes, I think that the world is a circle without a beginning.
How have I not known about this all my life? :)
It seems like it had only just begun.
Mexican food is being delivered presently. Happy weekend to me!
I am also amused by the fact that two of my favorite actresses in the world Annette Funicello and Carroll Baker were married to men named Jack.
Montgomery Clift night on TCM.....I cannot see him without wondering about how it worked that he and Jimmy Olsen - Jack Larson - were lovers.....casual as it may have been.......
I also enjoyed THEY ALL LAUGHED.....but then I really like Ben Gazzara since THE STRANGE ONE directed by Mr. Carroll Baker - Jack Garfein.
But they were a box set!
Not sure I'm in the mood for Valentino this evening. After forty minutes of Ken Russell being a good filmmaker and not going too over the top, Leslie Caron enters the picture and then Michelle Phillips, and everything changes. And then we get to a scene where Valentino is arrested and must spend the night in jail and we enter full-blown Ken Russell mania with a gross and out of control sequence that's just as bad as anything in Babylon.
TOD: Miles Davis Live-Evil. Those long tracks are perfect for driving over the hill to Santa Cruz.
Huntz Hall plays Jesse Laskey - several good scenes.

You know what's funny? I'll tell you what's funny: When someone who is normally fine suddenly gets on a tangent and won't stop annoying someone. That's what's funny. And you warn them nicely to please stop, that this is a ME day and I don't wish to be hassled in any way, but they can't stop - they keep trying to push your buttons to get a reaction. I gave my final warning and then I unleashed quite strongly. Sometimes a person's gotta do what a person's gotta do.

I have a new addiction: Hoody’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Mix with mini peanut butter cups, peanut butter-filled pretzels, dark chocolate chips and more.
You know what's funny? I'll tell you what's funny: When you get an Amazon order and you process it and less than one minute later you get a message from the buyer asking for the tracking number. It takes ALL my self control to not call these people out - that we have to accept the order in a very timely fashion due to Amazon's metrics, which get worse all the time - we MUST do it. So, we do it. I then forward the order the helper. She doesn't work at ten in the evening, I'm afraid. She's very good about generating tracking numbers in a timely fashion once she's up and about - sometimes it's there in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon. The fact is, even with their messed up metrics, they give you a couple of days to enter tracking. I enter it as soon as I get it. So, I explain this to the buyer to no response. I put in the tracking number on Amazon, which is ALL I'm required to do, but I also nicely send it to him personally - to no response. The internet has turned people into disgusting, rude individuals.
I survived The Toxic Avenger: The Musical.

Tomorrow is the annual rose’ wine panel I moderate at a winery in the Hill Country. One of my favorite days of the year.
