Well, you're read the notes, the notes were blurbilicious, and now it is time for you to post until the blurbilicious cows come home.

That's a great blurb, BK!

Last night, Rodzinski posted:
I don’t like that George resetting his breakers didn’t help fix the issue. But G, look around the house for all your GFCI outlets. The ones with little trip switches on them, often in bathroom and kitchen. One of those may be on the circuit, could have tripped and needs to be reset at the outlet. Worth checking all those.
Thanks, I have already reset some of those, but I don't know if I've checked all that are here. I'll look again tomorrow to make sure that I didn't miss any. I know that there aren't any of those kinds of outlets in the room that lost power.
-
Also from last night:
Thanks, Jane and Jrand, and Vixmom!

And finally...Ron wrote:
James Carville, for those who know who he is, has predicted that the Trump administration will collapse within 30 days.
For me, that's 29 days too long.
I agree!!

That's a terrific blurb for your new book in the notes, BK!

Excellent blurb!

Good morning, all!
-
I am up early for an Amazon Fresh delivery.
-
I slept quite well, even with hyperactive kitties running rampant over me between 3:00 and 5:00. Thatch and Annabelle were the prime offenders. At the moment, all three are sleeping off their breakfastof minced tuna.
-
Annabelle has discovered that there are three - 3 ! ! ! - tiers to the teacart. At the moment, she's sleeping on the top tier next to me, but earlier she rode into the kitchen on the bottom one. I still remain amazed I'm not a drunk.
-
Well, DR Ron Pulliam, I hope James Carville is right, and I agree: that's still 29 days too long. I was absolutely certain that a family member of a deported immigrant or a Ukrainian sniper would have taken him out by now.
-
Once Amazon shows up, I hope to begin the laundry. I also need to discuss the proposed North Carolina School of the Arts use of part of the ballet so the budget can be submitted.
-
I am up early for an Amazon Fresh delivery.
We have an Amazon Fresh delivery coming between 9 and 11 this morning. They've been extremely reliable.

It's looking like this could be the wave of the future for Broadway light dimming, only one or a few selected theaters rather than all theaters.

Good morning, all.
-
Hugely busy day today. I offer a quick hello and good vibes to all, and I must jump into it.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Not a great night of sleep, but no time to waste on that.
-
Must get ready for the doctor’s office.
-
Amazon Fresh arrived early and, during the brouhaha, Stella ran off into the hall. I ignored her and she returned very soon. Annabelle, after checking out a few empty Amazon bags, tried to follow her but I caught her in time so she returned to her teacart to supervise my unpacking the grocery order.
-
Time for kitty cleanup and the laundry.
-
Must get ready for the doctor’s office.
Medical test vibes for John G.

TOD:
Good morning, tutti! That's "eyetalian" for "y'all".
(In a different spelling, Tootie was the name of Margaret O'Brien in "Meet Me in St. Louis" and, later, of Kim Fields in "The Facts of Life" TV show).
-
TOD:
I know I sang around the house as a young'un...and many of the songs were by Gale Storm ("Memories are Made of This" and "I Hear You Knockin'"), but I also loved "Oh, My Papa" by Eddie Fisher and "Hot Diggity (Dog Ziggity Boom)" sung by Perry Como.
And did anyone know that when Storm made ""My Little Margie" that it was only intended to be a summer replacement show for "I Love Lucy"? It was so popular that it got its own contract and time slot.
-
One of my favorite things to do was "The Bunny Hop" dance.
And we loved watching "Your Hit Parade" with Dorothy Collins, Giselle McKenzie, Russell Arms and Snooky Lanson.
They were the "bee's knees" in our house!
-
And if anyone recalls, that show was sponsored by Lucky Strike cigarettes.
-
Oddly enough, I was enamored of Les Paul and Mary Ford and their recordings. That was because my grandfather, who lived with us a few years before he remarried (as a widower), had a wonderful console with record player and a lot of 78 rpm records, including a lot of Paul and Ford's recordings.
"The World is Waiting for the Sunrise' was a particular favorite.
-
Today is Tuesday, March 4th, here in Johnston SC, part of the CSRA.
I trust it's the same where y'all are.
-
Made it through the traffic with little problem. Now I wait.
-
Excellent blurb for the new book.
-
I haven’t received my copy yet. I let PayPal know yesterday.
-
We got about 0.2 inches of rain overnight. The plants looked happy.
-
Today the winds are supposed to be extraordinarily strong.

Having watched Some Like It Hot last night, I am down to two Billy Wilder-directed movies (Ace in the Hole, The Apartment) and four movies he wrote, including Ninotchka and People on Sunday. I found another, Emil and the Detectives, on YouTube recently. It appears to be a children’s movie.

The laundry is in the dryers. While I was in the basement waiting for the washers to finish up, I spoke to Doug in Seattle about the ballet: orchestra suites for concert, the North Carolina School of the Arts, and a proposal to a major ballet company.

I’ll never forget ushering for a show at Christmas. The theater hired a pianist to play Christmas songs in the lobby on an upright in one corner. He was a student and launched into a beautiful version of Here I’ll Stay, which has become a favorite Christmas song ever since.

That's too bad. I mean, granted, there's an acknowledgement, but still, only one theater dimming their lights almost makes it seem like the rest (or at least many) don't want to be bothered. :-\

I'm not too sure about this, although Musk may have uncovered stuff Trump divulged. If you recall, he was never given security briefings during his first term because the-powers-that-be distrusted him. He did not replace them with anyone who was thoroughly briefed, so I doubt any major secrets have been exposed.

I have officially decided that I love pit work more than just about anything in my musical life. It's great to music-direct something you love now and then, and I am very grateful to have the privilege of doing so, but I love playing in pits with good musicians and could be happy doing ... just that, and be totally happy.

I have a show around that time, and I have to look to see if there's a possibility of my getting into the city for it. It would be ridiculous to miss it after the covid delay and everything.

Back from rehearsal. We didn't start until almost eight for the run-through so I knew we couldn't do act two. We stumbled through act one, assigned the rest of the scene shift, and then I did detail work with the actors. Tomorrow night, I think Richard Allen will be with us, and Sunday, too. The tracks are just too weird to work with - he's playing the fast stuff VERY fast and the slow stuff VERY slow.
