Intermission is almost over.  It's going well.  I was standing out front for a few moments and I saw a couple of cars leave.  Their loss...and there are no refunds. ;)

I just hope it wasn't the actors

Fortunately, not.  The entire cast and crew stayed for the second act.  The rest of the show went quite well.  The strike was very easy...mostly just a few platforms and big tubes standing up at the back of the stage.  We didn't even have to repaint the floor.

After the strike, most of the cast and crew went to Brewery City Pizza (a local pizza place) and had an after-the-final-show meal together.  There was eating and dishing the dish and general having a good time.  We all said our good-byes and we each went home...or at least left the pizza place.

And now I'm home, watching "The Last Ship."

Apparently in LA today there was a sudden rainstorm - it lasted, I believe, about twenty seconds.  And in Venice, there was lightning - the bolt killed one swimmer and caused serious injury to a surfer.  Go know.

Bacon flavored Ritz Crackers.

Strike vibes for DR GEORGE.

I am hoping we get to see Dog Pictures from the party that DR SINGDAW's dog is attending this evening.

Thanks, Jrand!  It was very easy and didn't take too long, at all. :D

Please do. Come and join me for some fun.

so  how many sleeping bags will your fire escape  accommodate?

The nearby park can accommodate plenty. My house is too dirty at the moment for guests.

We'll give you time to clean :)

I've started watching Saving Mr. Banks. Emma Thompson is wonderful, but the character is so off-putting that I don't know if I''m enjoying it.

Keep watching

Listening, relaxing.  Watched one of the Harold Lloyd shorts included with The Freshman.  Very funny.

I've begun to import into iTunes the Eugene Ormandy box set - of course the first CD I imported was the Rachmaninov second symphony, one of my all-time favorite pieces - and this is a gorgeous rendition - oh, those Philadelphia strings.
