I like Ron Pulliam's method of clearing the blues,  just get into it with music until you laugh,  very good.

What works best for me when I'm sad is sunshine, just sit and let it hit your face for 1/2 a hour.

And at night there's food and sleep.   

And then I try to remember all I've gone through in my life and survived.
