Kim is affected, but not as much. She has calmed down today.

I've written most of the commentary - two songs to go.  It's a little long - on a par with a couple of others.  Mostly they run four to five and a half pages and this one seems like it's going to be a full five.  So, I may cut a couple of stories, although I really like them.  The story of Evening Star is the longest, so I may try to cut it down a little.

No. I don't own them, so I have no say. They weren't surprised when I called the adoption center. It is common. They have no say, either.

Little by little they are improving. I hope they are feeling better tomorrow.

They go from purring to yowling in one or two seconds. Quite a personality change.

Went to a bring-your-own cocktail party tonight. I sat there with my white wine watered down with seltzer, lime and ice and watched everyone else get drink. It was rather amusing. And I'm glad I won't have their headaches in the morning. And, yes, that is as supercilious as it sounds.

And George, your friend Pug got a nod, as well.

I noticed that but (apologies to Pug) forgot to mention it in my post.

No, Elmore, we do not need another Disney musical.

....But then we wouldn't have been able to see this clip of some of the Alladin Hotness on a Hot July 4th. ;)

This was taped in Seattle, so some DRs may recognize the sights... Or at least want a popsicle. ::)

Oh, yeah. ;)

Amy Winehouse is dead.  Sadly, no surprise.

I read about that when I got up this morning.  She's ANOTHER performer who died at age 27:  Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, Heath Ledger (okay, he was 28...but still).

Very sad.

Finished writing the commentary - it's the same length as the Kander and Ebb, but I'll probably shorten a teeny bit.  Proofed the booklet - it's really good I got all this done because there would have been no time to deal with it next week.  Not that fun a way to spend a Saturday evening.  In addition to my early dinner I also had some soup and a pudding cup.
