Good morning, all! This week is a mess for me, and I'm juggling work and my social calendar like mad: a one-act play tonight at 9 pm, dinner with the daughter of my best friend from college tomorrow, Martin Conor, who directed my adaptation of BABES IN TOYLAND for the Houston Grand Opera, comes in tomorrow from London, and BK arrives on Thursday. Friday is DRGinny, and Saturday and Sunday are booked with Penny O's show and all the incoming friends from HHW. Oy! For a person with one social event every other week, this is amazing. My mantra this week: I will survive.
The TOD: my first impulse was Jane Austen, because she's my favorite writer, but I've decided on Gypsy Rose Lee: what a life she had, and then to have a musical centered around you. As Jack Benny would say, well!
