I watched Finding Neverland this weekend and enjoyed it very much.  I also have Sideways, the Aviator, Closer, and In Good Company to watch.  Oh I still haven't watched The Phantom of The Opera.
POTO makes a good coaster, in my opinion.

The two films were being sold as a two-pack when the remake came out on DVD.  Probably not the most inteligent move, to beg an audience to compare the films.

Well once you bought 'em they already had your money!! LOL

Sensible bathing suits.  It is to laugh.

I like the beach, though.  But I want a beach with plenty of shade and not too much sand, and not too close to the water.

a beach with shade, little  sand and away from the water...

I'm sorry, what part of the beach do you enjoy?  ;D

And POTO's choreography stinks, so I'm not gonna dance.  So there!

I am still totally unmotivated to work today. I wish that I was curled up on my couch watching a movie and dozing off for a nap.

I am having the dangest time trying to post about TOD.  Mostly because I'm extremely angry with two different people right now and it's difficult to follow the way I know these situations should be handled, let alone trying to write about it.

Is it okay if I just act out right now?

Grrrrrrrrrr!  GRRRRRRR!  GRRRRRRRRR!!!

I got a knife here, and I'm not afraid to use it!!!

GRRRRRRRR!!!  GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!  GRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

Whew!  Now I feel better!

Thanks for listening!

Recently in Cape May, NJ, they lifted a ban on men wearing tight fitting speedoes on the beach.  Methinks that the town council in Cape May has not taken a good enough look at the physiques of the men who tend to seashore there.
Cape May, which is a quick ferry ride across from Lewes, DE, which is the next town up the shore from Rehoboth Beach, DE.

If anyone was wondering.

And some people don't have the THIS for leotards OR bathing suits.

At any rate, they usually cast out of NYC, which is all well and good.  And they have several "regulars," especially for the musicals.  These are people who are just this side of actual stardom, but certainly have reputations in the business.  Well, one of our "regulars" has returned, essaying the role of Cassie.  This is a twice Tony-nominated actress.  Vocally, she was fine, if not stellar.  Acting-wise, she was fine.  Just one problem:  She can't dance (an ersatz FOLLIES reference).

Oh, she can "move."  She could get by in her Tony nominated roles.  But she is ill-equipped to tackle "Music and the Mirror."  (And was huffing and puffing through the rest of the scene that follows her number.)

So...who is the actress??

My reaction to being treated contumely depends entirely on the circumstances and personnel involved. I'd be willing to give a real friend a little slack.

However, I have to admit that though I don't got for redress, I also never forget and if the slight is serious enough, I never trust that person again, never put myself in a position where he can hurt me again. Oh, I won't make any outward show of disgust or mistrust, but I know in my heart that the person is the dregs and I wouldn't lift a finger to help him ever.

This sounds about right for me, too.  And to steal and modify a statement of elmore's, "Kick me and I'll forgive you, kick my friend and rot in hell."

I'm at work, and just back from lunch.

I arrived at work @ 11 a.m.

I was unable to draw deep breaths last night without my inhaler, so I got in my car, drove to my workplace and retrieved same.

After taking a hit, I logged onto my computer and dealt with three days  worth of e-mail

After a second hit some 10 minutes later, I was out the door and enoute home, breathing deeply and contentedly.

Lesson:  Never be without your inhaler regardless of how seldom you actually use it.

I left my co-workers an e-mail telling them of my malaise and I said I'd be in late.

I was in bed @ 2:30 a.m.    I slept fitfully, but my breathing was great.  I just couldn't get comfy.  My bed is in a different location for the first time in 10 years and I'm not used to it.  Sigh.

Thanks to those who wished me well.

This weekend we watched "National Treasure" which we all quite enjoyed.  We rented it at the request of the Vixter and found it to be fun and profanity-free.  I don't know that it was "great movie making" but we all thoroughly enjoyed it and regretted that we didn't  see it on the "big screen"

(maybe we could drop by MattH's and use his set !) ;D

Be glad to have you, and since NATIONAL TREASURE is a movie I am VERY much interested in seeing and haven't as yet, you would be MOST welcome.

BTW, I already have GALAXY QUEST, and I'd be glad to screen that one, too, as it's a fine, funny film: one of the best, mnost sweet-natured parody films of the cult mentality that I've ever seen. And believe me, it looks GREAT on a big screen! In its day, it was definitely a reference quality showcase film for DVD and widescreen TVs.

Got a couple of things cleared off the DVR as I expected, but still no DVDs watched today. Maybe tomorrow I can finish up with 8 1/2.

And I got *4* packages of DVDs in the mail today (sorry, Mr. Mailman, but that's what happens when you have a Monday holiday.) I am eager to dive into some of the DVD sets that came today.

Leotards,
What's happened to them?
Leotards, today.
What's become of them--
Some of them

Good Afternoon!

Sorry for being E&T for the past 24 hours, but I did end up making the trip down to Richmond yesterday afternoon.  I had a wonderful time.  I guess it is true what they say in Avenue Q:

"There is life outside your apartment..."

:)

Well, outside of my bedroom... Or even outside of the orchestra pit...

And, now, I read...

Laters...

DR Ron Pulliam - I hope your sinuses come back to normal soon.

I "invested" in some dust/surgical masks a few years ago, and I use them whenever I do some major cleaning.  A pack of 10 at Target run only about $3.00.  A truly worthwhile investment.  And I also try to use disposable gloves when I clean too - it's always too easy to touch my face or rub my eyes in the midst of cleaning.

In any case...

My sinus stuff finally cleared up over the past two days.  I hope yours follow suit soon too.

Attention to DRs who will be in NYC in October - There are a couple of shows to which I have "access" to house seats.  If we get a head count...

Just something to think about.
