SPOILER FOR PEOPLE WHO MAY STILL SEE THE UK QAF SERIES

I loved the UK QAF series, but was so glad the US version found a way to keep alive the character who became Ted in the US series. Seeing the Uk version after the beginning of the US series, I was shocked that the character was killed off so early in the proceedings in the UK series.

Well, time for me to get some reading done... as well as some postcards... and some journaling too. -At least we don't have rehearsal until 1:00pm tomorrow/today, but I'm hoping to have a productive morning - there are still a few passages that are not sitting underneath my fingers as comfortably as I would like them to right now. It's metronome time!

I just picked up a used copy of A HOME AT THE END OF THE WORLD, which I had seen before. . .Colin certainly didn't seem uncomfortable with Dallas Roberts. . .

Dallas Roberts was, indeed, wonderful in "The Village." I was very impressed.

I knew folks thought Jan Maxwell and MArc Kudisch walked away with the show. I found her performance a little monotonous, but Marc did it for me.

Yes, DR George, the choreography was the same in NYC as your described. They did just walk around those poles. Very simple and very unmemorable.

I was somewhat underwhelmed with the QUEER AS FOLK finale (and I've been a defender of the show as a great guilty pleasure since the beginning). Too many coincidental meetings that didn't ring true and the last sequence not worthy of some of the involving drama they'd fostered this season.

That said, I'd be lying if I didn't admit I had some tears in my eyes as the series played itself out.

BUT, I REALLY bawled my eyes out with SIX FEET UNDER. Almost unbearably sad this week.

Thanks for not revealing anything about the series Matt. Still a few months here before it starts I guess.

Yes, I knew better than to give away any specifics. Just brace yourself for a whale of a ride for this last season. Only two episodes left for us here.

I'm going to miss QAF. QAF and The Sopranos were the only non-news shows I watched with any regularity in the past several years.

I am likewise going to greatly miss it. Unless one gets the new gay network Logo, I don't see any show coming up in the near future that will be in any way similar to it. Logo has a new dramedy starting this fall; sadly, my cable company isn't carrying Logo yet.

I'm ba-ack..... Just for a sec...

I was checking out some things out at Amazon.com... To give you an idea of what the show I'm working on here at Williamstown is about - besides the info provided at the writers' website, www.trickybox.com - it's based on the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire in NYC in 1911.

Here's the book which has provided much information not only about the social, political and "practical" atmosphere at the time, but it has also provided a lot of personal information about those who perished needlessly in the accident.

Needless to say, this piece has some very moving moments in it.

DR Jane - Glad you made it home. Sounds like it was just in time to avoid a real mess of spoiled food.

I, too, enjoyed the extra time we had to talk in the car and it was really fun to walk into the lobby of your hotel and have you recognize me immediately and greet me so warmly.

BeeGee is a wonderful dog, I think he was cuddled by all at one time or another during the evening.

I really enjoyed George, Betsy and Jeff as well and hope I can make another gathering soon to meet more of you wonderful folks.

BB6 - SPOILER ALERT

I watched last Thursday's show today when I got home. (I can't believe I'm recording reality shows, but I did). Anyway, I really want Kaysar to come back now. It would definitely shake up the house and I really think it will be Kaysar, mostly because of his popularity and because if Cappy comes back, the balance in the house will be so one sided it won't be a good show. I'm sure the producers love the split in the house and the way Kaysar was making friends - even though they voted him out. Interesting that the only vote to keep Kaysar in was James!

On the other hand, if Michael comes back, we may have some Michael/Janelle sex under the covers, but I don't think they'll put him back in there.

I didn't realize until watching that how much Kaysar wanted James out of the house. I don't think that's going to happen this week, since James has the veto again. I am very curious to see who Howie puts up against Sara.
