SWW, I’m glad Fletcher is doing well.

Michael S, the pig story is a riot.

Bruce I remember you raving about A PATCH OF BLUE when you first saw it.

I’m finally caught up!!

Okay, favorite Shelley Winters movies:

A Patch of Blue
Lolita (my personal fave)
Next Stop Greenwich Village
The Poseidon Adventure

You forgot "Night of the hunter," which is mine.

We've been having really strong wind gusts today, and I've got quite a few broken limbs from pine trees in my front yard I'll have to clear out later. I'm waiting for the wind to die down before I do this.

If the pine trees have broken a few of your limbs, how on earth will you be able to clear your yard???????

Sorry Dakota.  :-[ ;D

We enjoy many of the British movies and TV series.

No problem!

Do you like Doctor Who? I heard the Sci-Fi channel will be broadcasting the new series in March....

DR MattH, I did see your original post about wanting the ending to IN JUSTICE.  I should have posted that I have not watched it yet. I was planning to reply to your query some time tomorrow after I'd seen the show.  BUt I see DR George sent you a PM.  If you do have any more questions, I can post about the show after I see it, assuming I got the end (haven't checked yet).

Dakota-what is Celt for?

Beginning with Tom Baker we watched DOCTOR WHO when our boys were young.  It was our oldest, who was five at the time that began watching the show.  His younger brother and I would get scared and leave the room.  We stopped watching it years ago.

I went to TIVO Shelly Winters and was gone longer than I expected.  I would like to revisit some of her earlier movies since I don’t remember them.

Did I mention my favorite movie is PATCH OF BLUE?

FINALLY!!  It's here!  Two weeks after I was notified that my copy of Dessa Rose, (the "Original Off-Broadway Cast Lincoln Center Theater Complete Recording On 2 CDs") was shipped, it has arrived!  It's really cool!  It's a hardback book with CDs.

I just got home and now I'm off to my sister's house to play cards, so I can't listen to Dessa Rose now, but I will, and very soon.

Poor Fletcher! So many people running after him that he thought he was in "danger"!

He could not lend an ear, of course, and now he has a new one!;-)

Vibes to Fletcher!

I did laundry all day yesterday.  Now I must empty the clean dishes from the diswasher so I can refill it with dirty ones.

I will return.

Because if you were to refill them with clean dishes, you would not have to use the dishwasher! :D

I have read A Patch of Blue but never seen the movie.  I noticed that it's playing on cable early tomorrow morning.  Perhaps I will tape it.

Rodzinski and I had reservations to have dinner at Candela as birthday dinner for just the two of us, but I cancelled it and we ordered take-out instead.  It was much cozier to curl up on the couch in my sweats.
