Only two whet appetites - oh well.  But over 300 posts, so that's pretty amazing.  I'll mention the preview thing in tomorrow's notes, too, for those who might miss it in the posts here.  Very exciting for an author to see a book sample up, that much I can tell you.  If you've checked it out, post your thoughts.

Thank you, Danise and td. I know how much they love their dogs, so that means a lot. They always signed Christmas and birthday cards as "Dan, Becky, Sparky, and the Bandit." very cute

Hmm, why isn't my phone ringing? I am expecting a phone call. I should hope the phone will start to ring soon. That would be nice.

Panni, who is BUSY, needs to go read the free preview of Kritzer Time at www.1stbooks.com.  Simply type in Kritzer Time and then click on that title on the page that comes up.  The free preview is after the "About the Book"  And JANE REALLY needs to read it, for reasons she may or may not wish to reveal.

Well, knowing your rule of character initials, and knowing that Jane went to high school with you, I guess we can rule out her being the girl in Atascadero. :)

Wow! You've all been BUSY while I was away! So many posts! I quickly skimmed some, will read more later. So where is this KRITZER TIME preview? I can't find the first mention of it. Want to read it. Where to go, please?
What a great afternoon I had.  Went to visit a composer friend who has a home studio. We had tea and chatted (he's very British) and he told me about the album of love poems he's just recorded with Michael York. He asked me if I'd be interested in recording some of my stuff and when I hesitated, he said in his lovely British way, "You must try it, darling." He set up the mic, put earphones on me, gave me an Elizabeth Barrett Browning love poem I'd never set eyes on before, put on his earphones and improvised at the keyboard while I read. The reverb made me sound positively wonnnnnderrrrfulllll. At first I was afraid of making an utter fool of myself, but after a few minutes, my old acting chops started to warm up and I was emoting the love poem like crazy. It was so much FUN!
I'm taking my dog for a walk now. I hope when I return to find the answer to my K.T. question.

I'd imagine it IS pretty exciting to see something you've worked on showing up on the net.

I have some author friends who have told me the thing they hate the worst is the used book store.  I can understand why.

I've tried my hand at wrting but I'm not very good.    I wrote one DOTV story last year and I have a couple of old stories/poems somewhere out there in fanzines from years and years ago.  I can't even remember my pen name now. Oh, well. :D

Panni, I do realize you are out of your ever-lovin' mind, but the link to Kritzer Time is a few posts above in one of my posts on THIS page - to be exact, six posts above this one.  All you have to do is click on the 1st Books link.

So many posts!  I take a break for one morning and look what happens?  Well, I will go back and read all of them, but I will add my own post first.
This afternoon we went to Waikiki, the most touristy beach known to man or beast.  We stayed for about an hour and that was quite enough for us.  I think I prefer the lesser known beaches that I have been privvy to thanks to my local friend.
I head back to the wintery winter tomorrow!  I can hardly believe it.  I have some pics of me at the beach that i will post when I get back to my home computer.
I'm not really a collector of stuff.  I have programs from shows I've seen...somewhere in my piles of various stuff in my parents house.  I do have two copies of the Elaine Stritch At Liberty program, which I consider one of the most amazing theatrical events I have yet seen in my young life.  One was meant for DR Jed, but it never quite found its way into his hands.  Oh well....

OK - Time for be to be productive... Because if I am productive tonight, I can actually head back to Richmond... maybe as soon as tomorrow!  And I'll be able to sleep in my own, comfy, non-back-hurting bed again!  And for more than just a Monday night!  YIPPEE!

Now, if I come back here and find another 11 pages of posts...

WOWZA! ;)

-I promise, I'll stop with the "WOWZAs" soon enough.

References to "Wooly Bully" and dance crazes like "The Pony". My kind of book. Coincidentally, I was compiling a CD for a local radio station here yesterday and one of the tracks they wanted was "Let's Go" (The Pony) by The Routers. It's lunch time (Rather than "Kritzer Time") here.

I may be out of my ever lovin' mind, dearest bk, but that's not why I didn't know where to find the K.T. link. I skimmed previous pages when i came home and didn't even see this one except to "go down" and Post. So it wasn't your instruction for me to read K.T. that lead to the question of where the link was, but the previous mentions of it. Capisce?

In other words you skipped an entire page of excellent posts so that you could post.  Capische indeed.  Well, now you know where to go and I think you should go there.

I went there. And it was a terrific read and I want to read more.  Yes, I went to post - because I was eager to find out where to read the preview. I had just come home and had tons to do, but I logged on, didn't I? Didn't just go to post but read some of the posts to get a flavor of what was going on, didn't I? So stop criticizing me, sweetest bk. I have friends who break knee caps. Capisce?
