Just got back from spending a full 8 hours with college friends...it was fun, but I'm glad to be home.  I love the girls, but they can really wear me out sometimes.

If I was as attractive as you, dear Maya, I would have a house full of mirrors, instead of just a bedroom full.  As it is, I cover the bathroom mirror, for fear I might accidently see myself naked.

LOL...aw, TCB, you exaggerate on both counts!

Swish--love the pic!

Jason--love the new avatar!  I can't wait to see Assassins!

It's wonderful the Wicked OCR is doing so well...I actually burned a copy for my best friend who is NOT into musical theatre much, and she loved it.  I think it's just a very accessible score, which is not to diss it at all.

Emily--there are worse people for your prof to resemble than Christoper "Biq/Boq" Fitzgerald!

*I went to O'Connell... Boy, did our sports teams suck!

And speaking of which, where is Laura (I)?

Ah, well...

Jose: Sarah was a freshman at our high school last year when I was a senior. We met through choir, and I adopted her as a choir sister!

I got a weird surge of energy a little while ago and started organizing my bookshelves. Must be from the pasta I had for dinner. Been living here two months (as of Friday) and I'm finally gettting around to organizing the bookshelves at 10:30 at night. Go figure.

Well, I just finished my preliminary packing for my trip back down to Richmond tomorrow.  I'm soooo excited to be heading back home for a few days... And then to New York a week from today!

I was kind of surprised that there wasn't more to pack.  I tend to keep bringing more stuff up from Richmond each time I go back and forth, but this time there seems to be less accumulation.  The car will be nicely packed, but I should still be able to use my rear-view mirror with no "interference".

It's amazing what one finds when going through about three months of stuff: lots of back issues of magazines, old newspapers (into the recycling bin), a pound of fudge(!), some clothes I forgot I had bought (gotta love those Banana Republic clearance racks!), lots of shopping bags from lots of shopping trips... and it does look like my Imelda gene did kick in over the past few months: I have ten pairs of shoes here!  And I think I bought about five or six of those pairs while I was up here!  But one can never have too many black New Balance walking shoes - great for the pit!

All I have left to do is put away the stuff that's in the "open" - I also bought a bunch of candles over the past few weeks - ???.  I also want to get my hair cut tomorrow morning at my favorite barber shop up here.  So, hopefully, I should be heading back down to Richmond by 1:00, and be back home by 3:00!  *Oh, and as luck would have it, my masseuse will be in town this weekend, and I have a nice two slot booked for Sunday!

A two hour massage followed by "Sex & The City" - sounds like a nice Sunday night to me!

TD, I think you should introduce your member to everyone here.  Knowing your member as I do I welcome your member, who I feel will be a good addition to all the other members.

I'm here, and I don't mind telling you that I'm mighty pleased to have been mistaken for Young Laura.

I spent a most exciting day watching the drywall man repair the holes the plumber made in the walls.

My question for Ask BK Day:
Dear BK: Tonight I roasted a turkey for dinner. My DH then decided to go out and get a hot dog for dinner. What do you suggest I do with the turkey?

I suggest you take the turkey and brain the DH with it.  Or, simply insert his head where the stuffing would normally reside.

Late-night denizens and a new member.  Member, speak!

DR Panni - I tend to get those late night organizing joneses every now and then... and sometimes they turn into a organizing and cleaning jones! -Most definitely not a Smith or a Harpers, but a Jones.  Of course, when I go through my CDs, there's always one or two missing CDs, and I end up being kept up by all the, "I wonder where it is?" thoughts.

I think the "worst" case was when I started taking care of some tough spots on the kitchen floor.. About an hour later, I had done the whole floor... by hand... on my hands and knees... with just a heavy duty wash cloth and a bucket of sudsy water.  But, Man was that floor C-L-E-A-N!

OOohh... I can't resist...

Only 100 more posts until I reach Mt. Olympus!

Hmmm... I'm wondering if I can achieve that status before I head to NYC next week - since I will most likely be somewhat E&T and T&E - but I do promise to post at least once a day while I'm up there.  At least once.

In any case, today is (now) Thursday, I leave for NYC on Wednesday morning... Hmmm... How many one word posts would it take per day? ;)
