Are you a dog lover?

Have you been thinking about getting a new puppy,
but worry that you don't have the get-up-and-go to keep up with a high-energy pet?

Then let "Dogmatic" into your home.

"Dogmatic" will chase your puppy around the house or the yard.

"Dogmatic" will roll around and play with excited young pups.

"Dogmatic" will make sure your pup uses the paper you put down until he's housebroken.

"Dogmatic" will even walk your dog on a leash.

Of course, you will have to feed and water your new pet...and you'll get all the benefits of petting and holding your puppy, teaching him to play "fetch", and getting kisses on your face.

But "Dogmatic" will spare your energy levels so that you aren't too tired to go to your doctor's appointments, visit your siblings in their rest homes AND will keep your pet company while you take your naps.

"Dogmatic" -- the best thing to happen to tiring pet lovers EVERYWHERE!

"Dogmatic" -- a pet lover's dream come true!

Ron, this is so funny!!  Especially because when I first read BK's posting of the word of the day, I actually though that he had written DogOmatic! ;D

What kind?

I'd like a hunk of extra-moist rum cake.

Chocolate I think, but I can't decide between cream cheese or chocolate frosting.

The Dog-O-Matic by Ron Popeil looks like the Dogmatic, but doesn't have all of the features.

I want Birthday Cake.

Why doesn't some enterprising snack cake manufacturer sell individually wrapped  pieces of birthday cake?

When I worked at Togo's in high school, they sold individually wrapped chocolate and carrot cakes for 50 cents. They were soooo good.  I've seen similar onces since but they've never been as good as the ones from Togos.  I can't wait to go home for some lunch!!

Tpunk I would go see Awake and Sing. It's a little dry and if you're on a TDF ticket you will probably be up in the balcony of the Belasco so there may be sight line issues but it's a good, solid revival and seeing Ben Gazzara on stage even after his stroke was a sight to behold (in a good way).

Jane, Jason's new job is very flexible. It pays well, allows him time for auditions and he will now be able to afford classes. He wants to get into a dance class and go back to a vocal coach. Taking class can seem like a waste to some people, but it's an important part of the life of an actor, I think, especially if you have a good coach or teacher. You have to "use the instrument" to keep it fresh and alive. Sitting in the Equity (or SAG or AFTRA) lounge kibbitzing with other actors isn't enough. I'm glad Jason has the opporunity to start getting his ducks in order.

I just received good news from my friend I was worried about.  She doesn’t have cancer.  It didn’t look good at all & I was really scared, so were her children who rushed home.

Thanks Ben, classes as well as auditions & a good job-GREAT NEWS!

Hey, TP, where is the mini low-key celebration tonight? I know it's on 24th Street between 6th and 7th but what is the name? I could go back and look at yesterday's posts but that would be too easy  ;D

If you want to bump it
Bump it with a trumpet.
If you want to grind it
Wait till you've refined it.

I second that! He has such talent that was being wasted...I look forward to hearing from him again one day and seeing what wonderful things he will be involved in!

TPunk, JRand & MBarnum.  Thank you.  If it had been cancer the odds of survival would have been very low.

I have a half-day tomorrow. I will be gone at 11:30 and then I will be errant and truant. I will be in DC with a friend. I've mentioned it before but we will be seeing Mame. I don't expect much access to a computer so I will probably not be around until Monday afternoon when we return from DC.

As for the second question....no doubt about it....veg-o-rama!
