The NY Philharmonic shouldn't be boring.
Audra McDonald shouldn't be boring.

Put them together with boring arangements, and what do you get - BORING!

Larry Moore please become a superhero and save these shows.

Live from Lincoln Center it's MUSAK!

You know, every time I mention a specific number of GUESTS, one of them disappears within seconds of my post - coincidence or someone running scared?  It happens every time - like clockwork.

Craig Douglas topped the bill on The Beatles first major performance!

Just a guess...but Craig may have wanted it the other way around.  :o

Oh, you were talking about billing....nevermind.

I do hate to be the naysayer, but I have never liked Audra MacDonald's singing - ever.  I enjoyed her, sort of, in Carousel, but I cannot listen to her CDs, because every single vocal sounds exactly the same, and that, for me, means she has no clew what she's singing about.  And I cannot watch her perform because there's somthing snarky about it - there's no reality at all.  And Audra (or her "people") always use orchestrators I have no interest in.  Just has I had my rep company of orchestrators, so does Nonesuch and that group - only mine was good and theirs is, well, not interesting to me.

Our excruciatingly glamorous New Year's Eve continues - we finished The Devil Wears Prada and did the dishes.  Now we're going to eat the last of the Christmas pumpkin pie.

Skip went off to a party, but i've got a cough and feel funny about coughing on people, especially with food around.  Here on HHW, if you cough and nobody hears it, it's as if you haven't coughed at all.

That's very sweet, but Ms McDonald and her crew are a bit too grand for me; she and Mr Sperling prefer Bruce Coughlin.

We're on the verge of entering the top ten.  Then it's only a question of how high we shall get.
