The good news is that I called for my hair appointment in the nick of time, as Teddy's leaving town for two weeks - I managed to get in tomorrow at eleven, just before rehearsal.

For those not from of in California, a bit of detail about the last gubernatorial election:

Schwartzenegger got 55.9% of the vote.

Phil Angelides, his closest opponent, received only 39% of the vote.

It wasn't a HUGE turnout by any measure, sadly.  Angelides was a crappy candidate for any party.

55.9% does not reflect the apathy most Californians had toward the election.

Did Mister Teddy say where he was going for two whole weeks?

Did they let you go because you were well-behaved?

I'm working on a dreadful sitcom that is shot here in Atlanta called "Tyler Perry's House of Pain". Technically it's OK but the writing and some of the acting is pretty lame. I think they should rename it "House of Lame".

One of the main characters is a crack addict, though, so that's pretty interesting.

Hello, fellow Dear Readers. I spent the entire day -- dawn to dusk -- birdwatching with a friend. We logged 59 species. Sixty, if you count the chicken on the farm.

Good Evening!

-Just taking a break from my "project"... So far, two recycling bags filled with old junk mail, receipts (shredded), catalogs, magazines, and small boxes.  Whew!  Now I just need to figure out at what stage I want/need to finish tonight.  It has been a bit overwhelming, but at least I'm getting it done.  Finally!
