I saw Peter Pan at the El Capitan today.

The stage musical, animated version or the recent live action film version?

OK... Time to get ready for "American Idol"...

Laters...

Will be supping with Miss Jessica Rush this evening.  She's made a snap decision to move to NY and is leaving on Friday.  I don't know how anyone does anything quite that quickly, especially a major move.

I wonder if I'll have time to watch a motion picture on DVD, and if so, which motion picture on DVD it will be?

DR Cillaliz - your immigration law aspirations have reminded me to ask if you've read Mary Pipher's The Middle of Everywhere and to tell you that one of the most interesting women I've met in my statewide AAUW involvement is an immigration attorney in northern Ohio.

No I haven't read the book. I'll have to get it.  Immigration law touches a ton of different issues and parts of peoples' lives. From the guest artists at the symphony who need visas to the people who come here to work to the people seeking asylum. It's a fascinating area to study. I've been reading a lot already and am more interested all the time.

The Middle of Everywhere looks very interesting. It's set in Lincoln, Nebraska. That's only about 60 miles from here.  I will definitely have to read this..thank's for the suggestion

Just got in a little while ago.  I was surprised that there are still lots of cabs on the streets in midtown, despite the weather.

It's one of my favorite books and was the AAUW/Ohio all-convention read in 2005.

And there is a skywalk between my building and the library.  When I looked at the space and looked out the window I thought of you!

I'm still hungry.  Miss Jessica Rush is supposed to call at seven to tell me she's on her way, which probably means I won't eat until seven-thirty.  Then there's the question of where to eat.

It was sunny, then it was gray, then it was sunny, then it drizzled, now it's evening.
