Oh, we're going to talk about fantasies, are we? THAT should liven things up!

:) Yeah, that'll turn it into a record-breaking Wednesday posting session for sure...

I am annoyed by messy and/or difficult product packaging [for CDs, DVDs, or anything seal-wrapped in plastic].

I, too, share your frustration with CD/DVD packaging. I suspect that most people do. So many things could be improved. Yet when I've spoken to senior management types so often the attitude is "That's the way it is." That's nonsense, of course. It's a matter of looking at the problem and being open to new ideas. Unfortunately, many US companies stiffle innovation, in my opinion. Even Hewlett-Packard, who used to have such a stellar reputation, was absolutely stiffling--one of the worst companies I've worked for in that regard.

Alas, no interesting fantasies for their comeuppance!

Better go...I need to get to court.  I told the Judges that I'm leaving (would have been poor form for them to hear it from someone else)  They were both very supportive and want to make sure I get a good number of federal appointments in the beginning to help me get started.

CILLALIZ, you must be really blessed. EVERYTHING seems to be falling into place for you. I'm pleased for you, but am a bit CURIOUS as to how you do it. Is it the horoscopes you subscribe to? :)

I guess it depends on what the police report said. If the reports indicated a simple "he said-she said" case, I suspect it would be dropped without further ado.

What about resisting arrest?  If he had a license for the rifle were they both taken away, or without a charge did he get to keep them?  It is possible they dropped the charges & kept the rifle.

DR Laura, I do home you get some answers to his whereabouts.

I agree. But do you think she should have been kicked off by the producers for having the pictures on the internet.

It seems a key issue is which pix are really of her and which are fake.

Just for you DR MISS KAREN, click on the moving "marquee" icon on the quote reply form, then place the text between the two bracketed "instructions"/code. It's not difficult once you know what it's looking for.

Just kidding, I don't really know him, although I have seen him live on stage a few times here in New York

the Barbara Cook "Mostly Sondheim" album for the horrible vocals he provided.

DR Ron, do you feel the same way about his vocals on A New Brain?

Now there is a show I just didn't get -

When our little local fine arts association back in Prescott (back when I lived there) advanced to the national competition in the ACT Fest with a show that my mother was a part of -- and one of the favorite plays ever in fact -- one of the regions had advanced their production of A New Brain.

My mother and I laughed incredulously all the way through, saying "What the hell is this?"  It wasn't the production itself (well, I'm sure that contributed), it was the show as a whole...and then we were just about rolling up and down the aisles with laughter when at the end, people (especially those from our show) stood up cheering, crying "Bravo!"

Oh man...I despise that show.  LOL

As far as Brains go, The Brain From Planet X is MUCH the superior...god, I can't even believe I attempted to compare those two...

Oh Jeanne, you are kind...but my mother is much more of the hands-on kind of person.  Once she sees how it is done, she's a pro at it, but before then, reading this may be like Greek to her.

But then again, she may prove me wrong and I'll gladly eat my hat (thank you Lionel Bart!).

Cason-

I understand your reaction.

I don't always like William Finn's scores on first hearing, but after living with the material for a while, usually grow to love them.

Why can I not find any Armenian restaurants in Los Angele's Little Armenia section?

(As you can see I am planning my April itinerary).

And is Little Tokyo located near a rather delapidated area? All hotels in that area seem to have warnings about not walking about the area due to crime.

Careful DTM, that is how it started out here last week, as a light and lovely snow :)

No, there's no possiblity of this turning into anything major, DR DakotaCelt.  The sky is already starting to break up.  With any luck, I won't have much at all to shovel.

MBarnum:

There is one called "Marouch"
4905 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA

And there is a chain called "Zankou Chicken," one of which is here on Hollywood Blvd.

I've eaten at Zankou and it is pretty good stuff; I can't speak for Marouch.

Well, Little Tokyo is downtown -- and, they've cleaned up downtown some, but still, it isn't a place you want to be sauntering around extensively after dark.

Congrats to DR CILLA LIZ on 7500!

I didn't like Gets on the show either - or anyone else for that matter.  Don't know from his singing, but wouldn't seek him out to see or hear him do anything.

And are we still talking about shows we can't believe are renewed?
