Well, I'm back for moment to announce that as of now, I have officially joined the 21st century internet. I just installed DSL, and I am very pleased that the installation was so effortless. Hopefully, I can begin enjoying some internet goodies that were a pain to access using dial-up.

Anyway, hooray for me!  ;D

I am thinking I will not go to the office today. Tomorrow I have to be there all day while the new piano is being delivered and set up.

I am hoping that when DR MusicGuy's hand is all better, he might come and treat us to an evening of piano music on the new grand piano.

Good evening everyone.  What a day! The judge had a bit of a meltdown at the prosecutor before my last hearing. We ended up rescheduling and he said "I really wish you had decided that sooner"  LOL, I bet he does.

Anyway, I went to the Edwards gathering and it was really crowded, no more chairs and I was there early.  My cold was starting to bother me again, so I just decided heck with it, it's early, he'll be back. I'll catch him next time.

Written by my friends Tom Jones and Joe Thalken!

My friend said Mr. Jones was in attendance at last night's performance.

Well, I planted the easy things. I am not complaining, but it is in the 80s today -- warm in the direct sun.

Maybe early in the morning I can attack the yard with a pick.

DR edisaurus (again) - Well, a dinner date probably would not have been possible tonight with the tightness of my schedule.  So...  I have to check what time my flight back out is on Sunday, but brunch would be very nice.

Perhaps if the research assistant had gone out when she said she was going to she could have avoided ripping her toe from here to eternity and hell and back.

Day Two Report Addendum:

*And there was one young man in the last group of today who sang one of the most beautiful auditions I've ever had the pleasure of playing for.  Beautiful tone, perfect phrasing, just "floating" (not pushing the top of his range), and he actually knew the meaning of the words he was singing.  It was a great way to wrap up the day.  *And I made sure to find him afterwards and tell that I enjoyed his audition - he was really that good.  :)

Our very own DR Jose, the wonderful generous soul of a man!

I believe Mercury is still in Uranus because:

How else do you explain traffic backed up three and four blocks on every major street in the City of Studio at three-thirty in the afternoon?

How else do you explain three local donut shops all being completely sold out of - wait for it - donuts?  I queried one of them and I was told that people came in the morning, many people, ordering five and six dozen donuts at a pop.  And these are not popular shops.  Even Von's was completely out of donuts.

I too have listened to the Armenian George Clooney; even though I don't get any of the lyrics, I do like the sweetness of the delivery and the velvet of the voice!
