I've been watching show after show about cults on The History Channel.

They haven't mentioned HHW yet...

Maybe that should be the subject of Edisaurus' next documentary.  A group of people from all around the globe who gather daily to chat at an internet site hosted by an artistic master.  You could follow each of the people in their normal(?) lives and then when they are online.  Wow!  I'm thinking Oscar already!

I took my mom's camera to preschool. I'm putting together the pictures now.

TOD:

I think the only cast album I wanted immediately was THE BRAIN FROM PLANET X...of course it wasn't available at the time I saw the play...but now I have it!

And as for soundtracks, STAR WARS was the first one I bought...and it was just after seeing the film for the first time back in 1977.

Here is one of the two times today that Brody stood still long enough to get a picture. He told me he was making an airplane.

I actually thought about the way I reacted to RENT during intermission of SPRING AWAKENING.  SA doesn't hit home for me, but I can see if I was younger and dealing with different issues that it may have hit me the way RENT did at the time.   I will say I haven't seen SA from the audience, so I'm sure it would have been a different experience.

You mean, since you left the company of SPRING AWAKENING you haven't seen it from the audience.

Toni and Kayla hid from me in the tunnel. I found them.

And here's an action shot of Kayla running around with my leopard-spotted sweater. She looked like a gazelle on roller skates.

The Music Man was the first musical I just had to have the album for....and it was the soundtrack to the movie, not the original cast recording...

and then in high school everyone in my youth group at church just had to get Jesus Christ Superstar when we saw the touring show in San Antonio

As a little me, I wasn't in the know about original cast recordings -- musical neophyte that I was back then, I just wanted an album with the music so I could listen to it over and over...

So I would have to say that The Brain really is the first show I saw where I eagerly awaited the original, one and only, cast recording...

That didn't have anything to do with Boo Key being on the CD?

Yes, it was a short, but spectacular career...(Pippin reference)

I was hoping DR Jose would be here...Paul decided not to use my ticket to Man of La Mancha tonight - it's the make-up for the blizzard date.  DR Jose said he knew some people in the show so I was  hoping he'd be here to ask "who?" before I leave.  I guess I won't go for a little while, maybe he'll show up

I am loving the photos of the precious children. Sometimes I drop DR Sandra off at school, and I get to see them playing on the playground.

I park in a ramp connected to the theater. to get to it you have to go in the alley where they unload the trucks to set up the stage.  I was singing "I am I Don Quixote, the lord of La Mancha, my destiny calls and I go.." as I walked by but no one even noticed...lol

Toni cut this paper in half along a straight line and then she wrote her name all by herself. It took her a few tries getting started, but she was very proud.

DR JRand. I do collect souvenier programs and magnets. I am a little behind on the programs. I don' t know if Grey Gardens or Spring Awakening have them yet.  Curtains had hats, t-shirts, magnets and window cards, but obviously it's too soon for a souvenier program there.   I did get a button at Grey Gardens with an Edism on it.

I didn't buy a magnet for Spring Awakening because it says Totally F#$&ed on it and I didn't want that on my refrigerator

Hmmm now that I look, I don't have a Grey Gardens magnet either.  I could have sworn I got one of those....
