..What kind of Girl Scout Cookies? (makes a difference as to whether I should be envious or not...)...

Thin Mints, Little Brownies (Sugar Free), and Trefoil Mints (which I thought were the Trefoil Cookies covered in chocolate, but turned out to actual chocolate mints - like over-sized Andes mints - yum!).

Jealous? ;)

Russell Stover in the same basket with See's?  I hope that was an April Fool's joke.

And Hershey's too!  :o

...And if I wasn't feeling so tired right now, I'd be more elucidative. -Is that a real word?  In any case... And after the Red Velvet Cake, the Fried Chicken, and some Girl Scout Cookies (in that order), I'm also in a partial food coma right now.  But it's a Good Food Coma.  :)

Maybe.  I didn't see the mints for sale here.  I did have some Thin Mints, transfat free & I think they tasted better than last years.  To be honest, the last couple of years they were giving me acid reflux, so I'm either better than I was or the change made a difference.  I can now comfortably eat Thin Mints again. :D

Elmore, good news on the bank account!  Did your office situation get settled?

No, we're still looking, but we're okay for the nonce.

It was a RHETORICAL question!..... ;) ....Actually, it was supposed to be a riddle hidden in the title of the Page Dance.... but I knew SOMEONE would take it and run with it...Jose did it! (I got to say it! --  ;D) " I, Mz Karen, am an April Fool, along with many other types of tom-foolery"...is that the answer you were fishing for, hmmmmm?

Clouds are moving in so I had better get out and mow the lawn before the rain comes.

Less than an hour ago, while the sun was shining, it started to hail!  It only lasted less than a minute and then it was done.  I was in my kitchen and couldn't see how cloudy it was, but it seemed to be quite sunny...and still is.  Just had to share. :)

What an absolutely fantastic and fun day at FJL and Skip's home today!!

They are absuolutely wonderul hosts...and whata great chef that Skip is!!

The Red Velvet Cake was spectacularly delicious... I am sorry I did not get a picture because it was also absolutely beautiful... it had a cream cheese icing and was decorated with blueberries and strawberries in a very artistic fashion.

The fried chicken was marvelous.. I plan to try Skips' recipe (yes he's very generous about sharing his culinary expertise as well!!) next time I attempt to try to make fried chicken.

Tonight, I'm planning on going to a movie with a friend from work...sadly, just "a friend." ::) However, he hasn't called me yet and the movie starts at 7:15 (it's now about 5:20 PDT).  I suppose I could pay my bills to pass the time, since I'm caught up with all of yesterday's and today's posts...I suppose. ;)
