Good Evening!

Well, DR singdaw doesn't look spotted in person.  ;)

I, for one, am very glad to hear it.

It turns out we have similar college/professional backgrounds, so we were able to trade some "horror stories" as well as some happier tales.  And, yes, DRs, if your ears were burning... ;)  As is par for the course for HHW gatherings of all size, we laughed until we could laugh no more... and then we laughed some more.

So glad you two were able to get together.

But how did Ms Kitt enjoy it?

I'm back from a lovelier than lovely dinner with DR Ginny, and I ate way too much Mexicanfood.  The margarita was tasty, too.  I shall now plop like so much fish in front of the tv and fade in and out.

Wake UP, Miss Karen.  Wake UP, DakotaCelt.  Wake UP, Adriana Patti.

I believe that Miss Patti is attending the Sacco & Vanzetti opening with BK.
As for the others, I haven't a clew.

I'm back, too, from that lovely dinner with DR Elmore.  Tonight's Easter dinner preparation task is complete, too - making lemon/lime Jello eggs.  When we serve them Sunday with the spiral sliced pork product that DH Richard will bring home from Cincinnati the menu consists of - wait for it - Green Eggs & Ham!

Ohhhh, very nice. I hadn't seen that. I'm a fan of enameled cast iron.

Maybe...

I believe "Carribean" is currently a Sur La Table exclusive.  Or maybe not.  ???

However, I do like the still new-ish "Lemongrass" - which, I believe, is a Williams-Sonoma exclusive.

But... I'm still a Cobalt man myself.

Listening to BBC Radio 2 right now - Alan Titchmarsh.

As Time Goes By tonight, followed by The Vicar of Dibley, a lesser-known Britcom.

Are you listening to the tv shows?  Both are the best of the best, IMHO.  It is sad there are so few seasons of The Vicar of Dibley.

*And here's a handy bit of Le Creuset trivia...

If you happen to come across a Le Creuset Factory/Outlet store in your travels, when you register there that store's location becomes your "home state" for future purchases - even at other stores.  In other states.  So...

If you happen to register at either Le Creuset Outlet store in Virginia where the sales tax is 5%, and then subsequently purchase something at a Le Creuset store in another state which has a higher sales tax, your purchase will be rung up at the lower sales tax.  -Since their computers are all connected.  So... Register in Delaware. ;)

*And those promotional calendars they send out have some pretty good coupons in them.

**And it also pays to find out what the "Color of the Month" is at the outlet stores.  It's a good way to complete your set at a sale price.

So, shouldn't you register at the store in Woodburn, Oregon?  Oregon doesn't have a sales tax.

I wish I had registered at our local store before it went out of business-Oregon doesn't have a sales tax.
