Hi all!

It's been a rough couple of days but I wanted you to know that the world famous HHW vibes have come through yet again!

Mom is in a lot of pain but it's not from a broken or fractured hip  Thank G*d!!).  She has degenerate arthritis  (I hope I spelled that correctly).

We ran back and forth to the doctor yesterday and today.  I got almost no sleep last night at all until I was sure that she was sleeping ok.  I felt so very sorry for how much pain she was in.

I also want to see Cilaliz's big day!

I made salmon for dinner tonight.  Yuck.  I'm sorry but seafood and I do not get along.  Good Friday is the only day of the year I attempt to eat the stuff but I still don't like it.

I'm pleased about the no breakage news DR Danise. Hopefully pain managment will be sorted out quickly.

Sherlock’s staples were removed today.  All looks well.  We took off his sweat shirt and took him for a walk into town.  We have an office we often visit which has been great for socializing our shy dog.  He isn’t too keen on having people reach over his eyes or head to pet him.  Today he was happy to have attention & gladly tolerated hands on his head.  It was wonderful to watch him.

He whimpered every time he saw another dog and wanted sooo badly to play.  We did permit him, on leash, to play with a cute husky puppy.  The puppy was nervous with her first playtime with a larger dog.  We just told Sherlock to lie down & he was so sweet & gentle with the puppy her tail was wagging in no time at all.

Later he was attacked by a little service dog in training (he is fine).  I hope that dog never passes!

On the way to the vet some idiot made a left turn out of a parking lot, raced across to the other side of the road, almost into me.  I barely avoided the car while blasting my horn.  Poor Sherlock went sliding across the back seat.

Thank you, Dr Jose and Tomovoz.  Pain Management is about all that can be done.

As happy as I am that there is no breakage, I fear that more and more meds are in the near future.

DR Jane, I'm glad that Sherlock is doing well but I'm sorry about the attack.  It's strange to watch that sort of thing happen at the dog park.

I don't think I had the chance to tell you all that because of all of the recent attacks/fights etc at the dog park, they have finely decided that everyone must regisiter their dogs to be able to use it.

I think that is both a good and a bad thing.

Danise, that is great news about the much-lesser-of-the-two-evils!  (I'm sure no one ever said, "I hope I have degenerate arthritis!" without having a worse alternative.)

Thank you DR George.  It's very true.

I couldn't believe how long it took to get the results and I still don't understand why they didn't just send her to the hospital if there was even a slim change that her hip could be broken.

I'm begining to understand why Mom has no trust in these Florida doctors.

Cilla will you please send me a DVD so I don’t miss your big day?

I'd be glad to. I really don't think the news is online live, so it may be the only way to share it

Please, Cilla, me too?  I can't miss a Monday, they will think I am drinking again.

Ok, I looked at the site. It's Video on Demand not the live streaming what's on tv at the moment. SO, either I will be on the site at various times during the day or I'll be making copies of the recording they give me. You can tune into the internet at noon, central time, but I don't think you'll see me then.

I have been promised a "tape" of the show, so either it will be a tape I can try to put on disk or it will be on disk and very easy to copy.  I'll see what I can do about getting it on disk. Then I will see who wants one and will send them out

I completed DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER this evening. The picture is fine, and while I did notice speckles and occasional other debris, the color is good and the picture sharp enough on the Special Edition.

However, I'd love to hear the repurposed DTS soundtrack they've come up with for this movie. If it ever comes out on Blu-ray, I'll no doubt upgrade just for a more dynamic soundtrack.
