Yes, Matthew Bourne still gets the credit.

Since I really enjoy the London Cast Album, and have never been disappointed by a Bourne endeavor, I am looking forward to seeing the show. As you admit, the YouTube clips are not the finest representation - the official Mary Poppins on Broadway has much better video material.

You are WEIRD because....

Thanks! I appreciate your not being "partial"!
I wish they'd put the Broadway version on cd because that Broadway Mary sounds so good while I think Miss Kelly is the part too!

Next came MY DREAM IS YOURS. I think the transfer is slightly better than the one for ROMANCE ON THE HIGH SEAS. Color seems just a tad more saturated, but the film is as sharp as the previous one. There seem to be fewer speckles and bits of dirt on this one.

I finish up the afternoon, I put in MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS which I haven't watched in a long while. So glorious looking on this Ultra-Resolution transfer, and the repurposed 5.0 sound is also nice to have.

YES! You're right! I had forgotten about it!
Love that Supercali... number! If THAT does not get people in, wonder what would!

Now, I am not saying DR elmore's wrong about his view of the show... I haven't seen it but the clips are very enticing I think!

I really must get up and do something, but I really don't feel like it. It's so nice just to sit here.  But it's such a nice day, I must do something...

This has been the weirdest weather day. The sun has continuously come out and gone back into hiding, and when the sun goes away, the rain comes out to play. We've had two or three different showers during the morning and afternoon and all of them have been interrupted by burst as really strong sunlight. Right now, it's raining yet again!

I like it, especially the chin in the upper left hand corner  ;)

I might be able to fix that...I actually covered up your hand on his shoulder.  Didn't notice that, did you? ;)

Well, I just took a shower and I'm not leaving home yet, but I'm recording an Internet radio show and I don't want to upset the streaming audio, so I'm leaving HHW for the time being.  Be back later!

Same peek-a-boo game going on here, too. So far, not much of a storm!

And thanx to you, sir, I'm a tad poorer! BestBuy had a reconditioned up-convert DVR on sale for $79 (but missing the remote) - you didn't warn me that the dang HDMI cable cost a months wages! I was hoping to consult with you before making a puchase (they run abou $300 at Sam's), but the Best Buy deal looked pretty darn good. The unit does not record, and has no VHS, but all I really care about is enhancing our viewing pleasure with our DVDs. I think I got it hooked up and working - sure looks and sounds great.

You bought one of those expensive HDMI cables from Best Buy!  Argh!!!!!

High quality HDMI cables can be found for Buy-It-Now prices under $10 at Ebay. I've gotten all of my HDMI cables there (except for my Sony upconverting player which came with an HDMI cable in the box as I recall).

Guess I'll head back down now. I have to clean my bathroom, put away the laundry that I've already folded, and then settle in for more of Miss Garland and then prime time TV.

...Now, TOD:

What is the song you dislike most?
What is the dish that repells you most?

What is the worst movie you've ever seen?
What is your worst casting for a revival of....
...
If.  I loathe that song.
New York City gossip.
Home movie of Magic Mommy performing magic tricks at a birthday party and screaming at her two sons at the same time.
Anything with Rosie O'Donnell.

Great pix of Cilla, Jon, and the Mother.

You'd never guess they were from the same family.   ::)

Btw, the music for FEELINGS was stolen from composer Louis Gasté, husband of Line Renaud who lead so many Las Vegas reviews in the sixties (She's the one who sang "Relax, Relaxez-Vous! with Dean Martin... Line's our Patti Page!)

They went to court and won!

I assume you've heard her contributions on the recent White Christmas cast album?  Larry Blank contributed some snazzy orchestrations.

No! I still have to get that album! Shame on me! And there's also that square-jawed man in the cast that I like so much too! Mark D.
