I bet I'm the only one here with an LP of "Rivals", a musical adaptation of the classic play "The Rivals" by Richard Brinsley Sheridan, with music by C. Robert Jones.

There must be something wrong with my computer.  It keeps translating selected posts into French.

I hope the Durham County District Attorney's Office doesn't hear about this!

Ah, that old cult classic Lock Up Your Dotters, a musical treatment of DR MBarnum's escapades...

You know, I had my blood drawn yesterday, so anything I eat today will not show up on my test results. I am thinking perhaps a steak wrapped in bacon, something deep fried, and some cheesecake.

LOL-Good vibes on the blood work results.

And good vibes to Ginny & DH Rob.

Jose-I will be flying to Dulles on the 3rd, arriving early evening.  The following afternoon I will rent a car & collect Craig & his dog in the afternoon.  I looked into hotels near the airport but there doesn't seem to be anything to do during the day, or anywhere to walk.

I'm now thinking of staying elsewhere, an easy-not too expensive cab drive away.  Any suggestions?

Today is also payday.  Payday happens ever OTHER Friday.

That makes THOSE Fridays better than the rest.

My payday is the last working day of the month...which only happens once a month.

Salad Days! That sounds like a fitting title for my food intake the last 3 weeks!

I will definitely seek that one out, thanks.

One of my favorite OCRs happens to be "Once More With Feeling," the soundtrack to the Buffy the Vampire Slayer musical episode. Do we have any fans here?

And did anybody see the Scrubs musical episode this season? I assume that would've held some appeal, as it was written by the Avenue Q guy.

My niece LOVED Buffy...she bought all of the seasons on DVD and has the TV soundtrack to that musical episode.

I don't usually watch "Scrubs" but I did see that episode.  I thoroughly enjoyed it. ;D

Heh...I worked as an extra in the following made-in-Florida films: BODY HEAT, PORKY'S II, THE DOGS OF WAR and SPRING BREAK!

Clearly I had no nose for quality control!

Have you read about BK's connection with the original "Porky's" movie?? ::)

Such as....?

For years I had an LP of an obscure show called Preppies, but never listened to it.

Ditto Upstairs at O'Neals, which featured Bebe Neuwirth.

And I'll wager I'm the only guy on my block with an LP copy of Rap Master Ronnie!

I don't have (nor have I ever heard of) Preppies, but I have the other two recordings. :)

I would love CDs of the Julius Monk LPs, most especially Dime A Dozen.

I think I have this, too!  I've never listened to it...I don't even what the sound quality on my record is. :-\

I feel bad for Keith's mother.  She should have gone home from the hospital yesterday and she is still in ICU.  She is too loopy & feels too lousy to carry on a conversation-we just tried again.  The nurse said she is better today but we think she sounds much worse.  I wish I could be there.
