I haven't walked in 6 days, I'm going to try and get out now.  I still haven't had time to sneak away and get Keith a birthday card for tomorrow.

I feel bad for Keith's mother.  She should have gone home from the hospital yesterday and she is still in ICU.  She is too loopy & feels too lousy to carry on a conversation-we just tried again.  The nurse said she is better today but we think she sounds much worse.  I wish I could be there.

Sending good vibes!

He has YOU; he sure does not need a B. card! :)

Thank you François.

LOL-Sweet. I will tell him that, but remember I'm the one who got to go play last weekend while he stayed home.  I'm the lucky one.

HA! Based on your recommendation, I JUST put a bid on a sealed vinyl version of this on eBay!

I can transfer it to CD if you're interested. Tell me about the show; I've never heard of it.

I have an LP of Lock Up Your Daughters based on Henry Fielding's 18th-century Restoration comedy 'Rape Upon Rape

It's on CD now.  I love "When Does The Ravishing Begin?"!

I think the main requirement is a messy bowl that needs prompt washing - I often substitute poached eggs on buttered toast pieces.

Even so, I did buy oatmeal at the grocery store this afternoon and will have some tonight more than likely. I can't remember the last time I had a bowl of oatmeal.

And did anybody see the Scrubs musical episode this season? I assume that would've held some appeal, as it was written by the Avenue Q guy.

I saw it, and I really liked much of it though there were a couple of dud numbers. I'll look forward to seeing it again in reruns, maybe this summer.

My payday is the last working day of the month...which only happens once a month.

Our payday at school was always the last Friday of the month, and now my pension salary is automatically deposted the final weekend of every month.

Yeah, the one I had the most trouble with was the super-obvious parody of "We Go Together" from Grease. They barely bothered to change the notes in the melody. Some of the rhymes in the "I'm Dominican" number were kind of embarrassinly forced, but it wasn't TOO too bad. Otherwise, I thought the show overall was very tuneful and clever. I guess it helps to already be a fan of the show, which I am.

I had time to squeeze in a nap and watch 4 1/4 programs this afternoon!

I began with last night's MY NAME IS EARL. It was a good episode with Burt Reynolds doing a cameo as Big Chubby, the richest and meanest man in town and his offspring Little Chubby played hilariously by Norm MacDonald doing a dead-on Reynolds impression.

Next up was SMALLVILLE with Lynda Carter guest starring as Chloe's long-missing mom. I haven't read a SUPERBOY comic book in many decades, but I certainly don't remember so many beings with special powers living in and around Smallville. The show's writers/producers have really changed that mythology very much. Still, I enjoyed the show, and it's really begun the central showdown between Clark and Lex that we've been building toward for years.

30 ROCK had a hilarious episode with Liz finding joy in Cleveland, Tracy being hunted by the black mafia (made up of Oprah, Cosby, etc.), and Jack basking in his new (and very suspicious) love.

SCRUBS had an offbeat episode with three featured players - Todd, Ted, and Jordan - gaining the spotlight storylines for a change. Star Zach Braff was barely there (did he direct the episode? I forgot to check.)

And before sleep overtook me, I managed to watch about fifteen more minutes in the WILD WILD WEST episode I had started yesterday, the one with William Talman guest starring as a sheriff. Hurd Hatfield appears to be the central villain of the piece, but he was covered in so much age make-up that it took me some time to recognize him.

I guess Alec Baldwin wasn't calling anyone in the story a "thoughtless little pig".

Baldwin is hilarious on that show, but evidently a despicable monster IRL!

Actually Robber Bridegroom is out on CD I have it. It has bonus tracks. I had ask a few weeks ago if anyone knew the correct play order with the new tracks. Other sites do not include these numbers,
