Back from the webinar.  It was an interesting way to deliver professional development content.  We had PowerPoint, handouts, audio (via phone), and the capability to ask questions (filling out a form on the web).  The coolest thing was the "instant polls" they had built into the presentation - sort of like asking for a show of hands in person, but the results were displayed on the screen as pie charts.

Hmm...  I'll have to Google for the particulars later, but there was just a story on the news about some high school graduates who were not given their diplomas due to the fact that their parents and relatives clapped during the graduation ceremony.  The school has a "No Clapping" clause.  And the students even have to sign a paper stating that they will not clap for their classmates.  And, apparently, it applies to their relatives too - who don't sign the paper in advance.  However, the students will receive their diplomas after they serve one day of community service.

I suspect Elmore's already SEEN your petunias!

I also look forward to BIG BROTHER...my all time favorite "reality" type show...or "game show"...or whatever you want to call it. I call it "fun"!

Me, too, but I haven't heard a whisper of a rumor about another one this year.

Fruit is not that expensive.  Yes, it costs more than it did a few years ago, but even just two pieces of fruit a day - apples, oranges, pears, bananas, etc. - won't exactly clean out your wallet.  Just think of all the apples you could buy for the same price of a five-disc DVD box set?

;)

I had two white peaches three weeks ago.  They were very "dear" ($.75 each), but they were luscious.

Good morning studlies and lovelies!  What a festive group in the Living Room this morning.

Many thanks dear Jose and dear Ben for the comments on the burger places. :)

I'm actually on the patio watching the hot tub bubble.

If you go in early are you allowed to leave early?

I am. :) I have a very nice supervisor (unlike my friend/co-worker Margo who has a NOT very nice supervisor ::)).

Re:  "Big Brother 8"

SPOILER

I found this at a "Big Brother" site:

"A new group of houseguests will move in to the "Big Brother 8" house. Big Brother enters a new era after an All-Stars season was aired last summer.

"July 5th is the TBA premiere date, pending the offical premiere date announcement from CBS."

Slept late again, and I'm feeling all caught up, sleep-wise, and starting tomorrow I must arise early for the next few days.
