Since it may have gotten lost near the bottom of a page, I reiterate:

POSSIBLE PARTY (ASSUMING THERE'S ENOUGH INTEREST) AT OUR PLACE ON SATURDAY JUNE 30, 5:30 TO 7:30 PM, giving enough time for people to get here from their matinees and get to evening performances afterwards, without missing any of the party.

Unless there are other plans for that time, of course.

I am restless and anxious in the City of Studio.  I finished a motion picture on DVD over an hour ago, but just was too antsy to watch anything else, so I've just been wandering aimlessly from room to room, or sitting at this here laptop.

I can't believe Bruce has forgotten that on Saturday evening, he'll be attending my show...

Your show?

I thought Masteroff, Kander & Ebb wrote the show,

Good Evening!

Well, since I received a phone call earlier this afternoon... "Hi, Jose.  I'm just calling to confirm for tomorrow - auditions from 10:000-Noon."   -Oh, OK.  So, I'll be playing auditions tomorrow morning from 10:00-Noon, and then re-commencing with the HHW Weekend in NYC activities.

But before I retire for the evening...

Well, I believe the upcoming tour of Evita is now cast.  <knock wood>  We saw five people today over two hours.  And that was that.  *And now I think I'll have to listen to the OCR again just to "clear my head" as it were.  -I mean, if you can't sing the high falsetto stuff in "The Money Kept Rolling In", well...  :-\

I watched ZERO HOUR last night, and like DR MATTH was surprised to see Mr John Ashley in the credits....and even more surprised and dismayed at the way he was used.....as was DR MATTH.

I, too, watched ZERO HOUR last night! Immediately following, I watched AIRPLANE!  I'm very happy to have BOTH in my dvd collection.  Although it had been eons since I had seen AIRPLANE!, I found myself chuckling at little things in ZERO HOUR, while re-watching AIRPLANE!  I found myself laughing out loud most of the time with an occasional HHW groan thrown in for good measure.

Well, we did indeed have a splendidly splendid gathering tonight.  We all met at Grand Central Station: DRs singdaw, Ben, elmore, Rodzinski, MusicGuy, Ginny, DH Richard, MBarnum and myself.  And as previously mentioned, DR Noel stopped by for a bit of a visit while we convened at Grand Central.  :)

After we all boarded the 4 Train downtown - or was it the 6? - we deboarded at Astor Place and proceeded to walk over to the Sixth Street for some Indian food at Taj Mahal.

Poori, Naan, Samosas, Pakoras, Mango Lassis, Banana Fritters, Raita, Chutneys, Basmati Rice, Saag Paneer, Mattar Paneer, Lamb Karahi, Chicken Livers Taj Mahal, Shrimp Bhindi, Chicken Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken, etc., etc., etc.

Lots of food.  Lots of laughter.  Lots of good cheer!

And after making a trip to Australian Ice Cream and Chocolates, DR MBarnum made a stop into an Indian video and music store.  Then after a few minutes, DR singdaw went in... Then after a few more minutes, DR Ben went in... Then singdaw and Ben came out of the store... Whew!  DR MBarnum did eventually make it out of the store with a few purchases in hand.

-All the while, DR elmore was providing running commentary and translation of the Bollywood movie that was playing in the window.  :)

Pictures were taken by DR Ginny, and those should be posted sometime in the next couple of days.

Great, Jose.  So if you're coming, that means there's nothing specific previously planned groupwise for those hours, right?

bk - You have mail.

As for lining up a Line Producer and other personnel, some people I spoke to today suggested placing ads on Playbill.com and CraigsList.

You are correct, DR FJL.  I think the only "plan" was to meet somewhere for dinner before Curtains.  And that place had yet to be decided.

DR FJL (again) - I believe DRs MusicGuy and MBarnum will be meeting me for lunch after my audition session.  Would you be interested in joining us?  -I know DR MusicGuy would like to meet you, but he's heading out Saturday afternoon, so he won't be able to attend your partay.

Jose - What time tomorrow and what part of town would that be?  If it can be around 1 or so in the theater area or thereabouts, that would work for me.  Or i could join your group at 1, if your lunch is otherwise already in progress.

Oh, that should work out nicely actually.  I'm in session at Ripley-Grier until Noon, and I know DR MBarnum wanted to check out a shop down near Penn Station anyway.  So, maybe we could just set lunch for 1:00 in the Theatre District.  -And then the "rest of us" can head up to Levain for dessert.  :)

I thought Masteroff, Kander & Ebb wrote the show,

Yes, but Cason makes any show he is in his show!
