Now, was that the neighbor?  or the neighbor's friend shouting that?

I don't think my neighbor has any friends.

Well...  :)

I never actually called myself Slingblade.

I just made a foolish choice in screen names at the outset...   ;)

Thanks, DR JoseSPiano.  Perhaps I'm a geek, but I find this stuff fascinating.

Oh no dear Naomi ... you are one that must never change your screenname.  After all, it is a great mind exercise to figure out exactly how to alter "SpringDroop" every day.

Oh no my lovely, Singdaw/Naomi it is, and must stay.

(not that anyone asked me, you understand  :)

Um, no cookies.  This time.  ;)

However, if you have anything on pre-order with Amazon, well...

No problem there.  That pasrticular anything never progressed beyond my Amazon cart.

I like saying "progressed".  It makes me feel refined and British.

Hi dear Naomi.....I was checking today at the post office, and I'm afraid that I may have screwed up big time when I sent a little package to you, and also one to DR Rodzinski .

I hadn't seen that the "media mail" rate had gone up recently, and I put the old amount of postage on the boxes.  So.... I may get them back (I hope), or you may get them delivered with some additional postage due.

I apologize for being so unseemly!  Man, talk about a stingy date!!  He makes you pay your own postage!

DR MusicGuy...

Not to worry.  I would never besmirch you in any way.

[I don't like besmirching.  But I like saying the word!]

Do you pronounce "schedule" as "shedule" too?

Yes.  Tomovoz did and Ron did and Swishy Sarah did.

And JRand changes his screen name every year on his birthday. ::)

Actually, you can change your screenname here on HHW without affecting your post-count.  DR JRand "updates" his name every August 26.  Your "Username" can not be changed, however, the Name you choose to display on screen can be changed.

That's true; I had forgotten!  But he obviously does so without losing his tenure, or seniority, if you will...

And thanks to all for the congrats on my revived iPod.  As much as I've dug into the insides of PCs and VCRs and such, I was pretty shakey when opening up and switching the drives on the iPod.  I'm feeling pretty happy about this DYI project.
