FRIDAY THE 13TH
« on: July 13, 2007, 12:39:28 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were scary, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently wearing weird masks and are carrying harmful-looking implements and at least one of them is named Jason Graae.

Oy vey...what a way to start a Friday the 13th... I just checked the mail that my roommate left out in the living room and found a notice from the NY State Tax Dept. that my 2006 taxes had still not been paid. While I am fairly certain that I did send in a payment, I have no check or money order stub to prove I did so, which leads me to believe that I had a total brain fart and forgot to send the payment in. That's my fault. Unfortunately, it means I had to pay out $280 when I thought that matter had already been taken care of. I just made a phone call and made a payment, making sure to write down every single bit of information possible so I don't have this problem again.

Not a pleasant surprise, I can tell you...

Eeek!  I spy a Jason!  But I don't think he bears any harmful implements.  At least, not outwardly.

DR Jason...that's a bummer!  At least we know that if we get into trouble, there are expert tax accountants and attorneys here at HHW to lend a hand...   ;)

Well, there shouldn't be any trouble now. Not legally, anyway. The trouble in my bank account is another matter...I wasn't really prepared to pay that amount "again..."

And as we have our Friday the Hockey Mask Day....we also have a new moon in Cancer coming up on Saturday, so make a plan grow or make a relationship stronger.

Extravagant purchases should be put off until Monday.

Tax payments excepted.....

LOL DR Jack. I have a DVD of a Connick concert from a couple of years back. Charisma he has not.  Totally dull.

I would have loathed the Pajama Game. Last year's performance at the Tony Awards would not have encouraged me to walk through the door.

TOTD:
I've been listening to The Everly Brothers - very early  demo recordings and then early 1970's recordings for RCA

DVD. Just finished the second last episode of Deadwood.

My 45 rpm de jour was a track by Dean Hawley. Who? A degree and a half separation from BK.

With connections to Cleopatra and Petula Clark. (No-one is that trivia minded!)

As of 4 hours ago, he's still alive, but on life support.  News story here.

I am not sure which would be more frightening:  Jason wearing a mask, or the Joan Collins box?
