Friday Media Check:

DVR - last night's BURN NOTICE
         THE PUMPKIN EATER (to conclusion)
          ALL FALL DOWN
          THE SLENDER THREAD
           HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL

Just remember when you are watching THE SLENDER THREAD, Matt, that the story took place in Tacoma, not Seattle.

[move=left,scroll,6,transparent,100%]Good afternoon, one and all!  Let the weekend begin.[/move]

Any news on whether or not Liza has accepted the role of Joyce?  My only fear is who could possibly play Fred opposite Liza?  After all, Enzio Pinza is dead.

And David Gest is too busy making stange comments about nooky with Amy Winehouse! Does that count as lesbian sex?

On a recent transatlantic flight, a plane passes through a severe storm.

The turbulence is awful, and things go from bad to worse when one wing is struck by lightning. One woman in particular loses it. Screaming, she stands up in the front of the plane. "I'm too young to die," she wails. Then she yells, "Well, if I'm going to die, I want my last minutes on earth to be memorable! Is there ANYONE on this plane who can make me feel like a WOMAN?" For a moment there is silence. Everyone has forgotten their own peril. They all stare, riveted, at the desperate woman in the front of the plane.

Then an Italian man stands up in the rear of the plane.

He is gorgeous, tall, well built, with dark brown hair and blue eyes.

He starts to walk slowly up the aisle, unbuttoning his shirt...one button at a time.

No one moves.
 .......He removes his shirt.
 .......Muscles ripple across his chest.
 .......She gasps...
 .......and He says......

"Iron this, and get me something to eat ..."

I thought the graffiti near the Reservoir said "Jose Is Good".

I don't think that I would have had the presence of mind, having survived the bridge, to take pictures.  I would have been scrambling to get to solid ground!

Local news had a feature on how to escape a car that is being submerged.  They showed a gadget that you can purchase for $5.00 or so...you tap your car window with it, and it instantly shatters.  Handy thing to have.  Although I guess car thieves might also find it useful.

Unfortunately, most people who buy that device, keep it in the trunk.
I am not kidding!

Maybe that was "JosePiano is God".  Maybe the verb was wrong. It's a while since I read that.

Yes, well, the underbrush around the Reservoir is rather heavy.

Don't you think it is stupid to buy a device that breaks out the windows in an emergency; and then stores it in the trunk so they won't lose it.

So, DR Tomovoz...is DP Colin willing to share his Orange Cake recipe?  Or perhaps the one DR JoseSPiano posted the other day is close enough?

Yes!  In the glove box you have a better chance, but I guess there are still circumstances where you couldn't access it, even there. The hardest part about the whole thing would be trying not to panic, I would think.

Media Report:

In my work CD-ROM drive:  an MP3 disc of (the complete?) Wall-To-Wall Stephen Sondheim concert from 2005!  I'm in the middle of the fifth hour.  About a quarter of the tracks have little technical goobers (computer-type noises that weren't from the actual concert), but nothing that's horribly distracting.  The worst parts (for me) are when people flub their lyrics. ::)

Oohh!  I guess Lestat will live forever... Or at least for the next five years... With depreciation.  -I just received my Special Payment Funds payment for the recording session (that I did last year).  Ah, Christmas in August.  :)

Congrats!  So...when is the CD coming out?? ::)

I'm in the middle of the fifth hour.

The bottom of the fifth with the bases loaded?

If it's baseball, I'm lost.  Consult DR TCB!
