The two vacant lots next to us are on a flood plain - and they have permits to build on stilts!

Were you aware of this when you purchased your lot?

elmore, did you get my call from the rehearsal hall?  We redid the rideout of The Brain's Song so that it doesn't just stay on the F chord - it now has about seven chord changes around the same basic idea and bars, so you should be happy now.

DUMB POLITICAL STUNT OF THE MONTH:

ASSOCIATED PRESSThe government focing you to go to a docter and get nekid?

Women jailed for failing to get a mammogram?

This is a stance who's only consequence will be a long list of "Anybody But Edwards" voters.

Sign me up!

LOL-I hadn't read the article, just saw the headline for this.  I'm sure his heart is in the right place.

If you really want to debate this, ;) think about it.  He has a point.  If you are going to foot the bill for someone's health insurance, then you might want them to get checked & find major problems early on, and treat them while the expense to do so is relatively low instead of waiting.  Hmm...if that were economic they why don't the insurance companies already do that.  It seems I don't need anyone to debate this with, I can do it all by myself. ;D

Singdaw, I don’t see the ride you described….  http://www.ryeplayland.org/RidesAttactions/index.htm

Their site needs to be updated and made more attractive.

TCB, I doubt Danise has seen the Michael Ball photo, why don’t you send it to her.

DR Laura, no camera.  I jogged a little bit too, shouldn’t have stressed my, still, slightly sprained ankle but it felt good.

TD, you changed.:D  What are you standing in front of?

I saw the documentary Broadway yesterday. i was disappointed with it. I was really looking forward to it and I wasn't that crazy about it. I think for me was the way it was edited.

However it was fun to see the NY critics together at a restaurant discussing the coming season. They came back to them every now and then. They were wrong what would be a hit, what would be a a bomb and who would win a Tony award. They also had an end of a season tally of what shows opened and closed. Also it wasn't until the end did I realize that there was wasn't a mention about The Boy From OZ. It wasn't until they announced the contenders for Best Musical that I realized that there wasn't a clip from the show.

Also why was Alan Cummings in it? He wasn't part of the Broadway season that year. (He was one of the producers maybe that's why.) But I did read somewhere that he was originally the narrtor but it was dropped.

Oh and one more thing.

BK was mentioned (sort of) They were talking about Stephen Schwartz (not glowingly) and one of the critics mentioned he was listening to the Stephen Schwartz Songbook CD which he really liked. It isn't the correct name of the cd, but of course I knew what he was talking about.

A very, very, very long block!  But the frozen hot chocolate was well worth the walk - can we go there again, DR Jose, huh, please?  Oh, don't we owe DR Vixmom a trip there?  Maybe that could be our treat with her and The Vixter after they see Starfighter on the 29th!

  I love you Ginny :-*

I got up bright and early and took my car to get an oil change and inspection (it passed I am pleased to say... the 200,000 + miles didn't slow it down a bit!!)

Did you know that sneakers are called  "pumps" in England?  It caused no end of confusion 20 years ago when I was talking to my then soon-to- be-Sister-in-Law and bridesmaid when I told her that she need to get dyeable pumps which would be dyed to match her bridesmaid gown... she couldn't figure out why the Yank her brother was marrying would pair sneakers with Victorian style gowns
