Thanks, DR DakotaCelt!

Thanks again, DR Jane.  I'm definitely not 100%.  Maybe 55%.  :)

And speaking of the leaves of Autumn, how about Nancy LaMott's "And When October Goes" as part of the TOD?

Phoebe Snow's "Poetry Man" has been running over and over in my mind all day.

Not tired of it yet, either.

I used to love Phoebe Snow. That was in the days of vinyl. Must get her on CD. I like Poetry Man, but adore Harpo's Blues.

I do.  My mistake was not looking them up when we lived there, now I'm not sure I could find them.

Well, I'm off to rehearsal.  Hopefully, they'll have some actual music for us. :-\ I can go with the flow, but I'd rather have something in front of me.

Have a good evening, all!

Jane - our "landlord" was here cleaning up after the previous folks when we arrived on Saturday.  We won't leave dirty dishes or a lot of clutter, but it's my understanding that we don't have to change the linens, clean the bathroom, or run the vacuum.

Have we heard from CASON or MISS KAREN yet? Have they arrived home safely, with no adventures?

My friend and collaborator guitarist John Stowell knows Phoebe quite well.  Her child has some sort of a disability, can't recall right now what it is.

REALLY tired after two days of cleaning and rearranging and moving furniture as Marvelous Matt finishes up. Really glad to be getting all this done, but also really tired of it.

Good evening all.  Well Sam and I are home.  It took longer than we thought it would. We boarded the plane in Milwaukee and were told it was broken. It had a burned out something or other so we had to get off the plane and wait about an hour while they fixed it. We both slept off and on on the plane and Sam slept most of the way from Omaha to Sioux City. We hit some terrible road construction so we were delayed even more.  After we got to my house, Sam still had another 2 hours to drive. She just walked in the door at her house.

We are both very tired. We had a wonderful time, but are glad to be home.

In the morning....Sam has jury duty

For those who knew I was having trouble getting my email....I was right. There were over 100 emails waiting for me on the computer that had been downloading them while I was gone.

Midwest Airlines gives you 2 chocolate chips cookies baked on the plane during each flight.   So, it's better to have to change planes....more cookies

Sounds easy enough.  Don't loose the landlord's info for future visits. :)

All right, all you Levain cookie lovers, what is the next best thing (read COOKIE)  to a Levain?

(Yeah, yeah, I know they do mail order.)
