DRs Julie and FJL - thanks for the theatre reports!

DR JRand - thanks for ensuring that we all dance properly.  And I'm a baritone.

DR PennyO, sorry about that job - but it's probably for the best.

DR DaNiece, thanks for the exhibit link.  I've heard interesting things about that.

DR SingDaw, thank you for the big package.

For the most part I’ve been coping rather well with this for years, thing is on this birthday I will be the same age my older sister was when she died.  It is strange and scary.

Not to make light of something this serious, but I saw a wonderful film with a similar theme at the Santa Fe Film Festival, and got to know the director, who had a very unique method of marketing his film. It's a very sweet, touching, and affirmative film called "Expiration Date".

You can see the trailer here:

bk, you can only upload a 10 minute clip to YouTube. (In the case of the people who have stolen our film "The Internationale", they posted it in 3 segments.)

Are you wanting to post something from the LA production?

Yes, I'd like to post a couple of little things - like Here On Earth, maybe the opening number.

I'm listening to Tubby the Tuba, as by Arthur Fiedler, narrated by Julia Child.

I was going to watch another motion picture on DVD, but I'm just savoring the one I just watched.  I'll have to get the soundtrack - very pretty music.

I started my night of viewing with the 1934 MURDER ON THE BLACKBOARD. Always entertaining, and since I hadn't seen it in years, I couldn't remember who the murderer was. I was pleased that I got the identity of the murderer correct.

Of course, it's very early, so I'm not sure what I will do if not watch something else.

I had planned on watching BRAM STOKER's DRACULA, but a very lengthy phone call kept me tied up for over an hour. I'll have to watch it tomorrow.

I love them, too, but this is my first one on DVD-R. I plan to record the others when they turn up in the coming months.

So, since time was limited, I watched  a BONES episode from Season 2. This was the one with the man buried in concrete. Brennan's father (Ryan O'Neal) helped her solve the case and rescue Booth from a near-death experience.

There was still about 20 minutes before my TV shows began, so I flipped on that Don Rickles documentary on HBO-HD. A little of Don Rickles goes a long way with me, and his life didn't really appeal all that much to me, but he certainly seems to be worshipped by a lot of show biz biggies. I guess they all loved him picking on them in his act.

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES had a very involving episodes that revealed some secrets and provided some surprises along the way. Some good cliffhangers at the end of the episode.

BROTHERS & SISTERS had an excellent episode, too.

I said it before when I watched the Season 1 DVD set's bonus features, but Ken Olin, who used to be one of the handsomest men on prime time TV, has really let middle age catch up with him. True, he works a lot more behind the camera now than before it, but he guest stars on this week's episode, and if they're going to let him be a romantic interest for Holly (and I'm not sure that's where it's heading; I'm just guessing), then he needs to hit the gym.

DR MBarnum - If you go to www.nathangunn.com, you can check out his upcoming appearances - as well as read his blog.  And find more pics of him too.  ;)

Now, he and his wife have just joined the faculty of The University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana, so if you've ever thought of going back to school for a vocal performance degree...  ;)
