Trust me, it will after opening a heavy door for 3 weeks.

Hopefully they will be here at 7:30 AM tomorrow to adjust the springs and install the new opener.  That should make it work until the new door arrives.  Otherwise, I am going to start parking outside until it's here.

DR Nursie, a region 2 DVD is European and will not play in a standard USA/Canada Region 1 DVD player.  Is your DVD player one that will play any region or only Region 1?  If your answer is multiregional, you win the sparkling prize and BK will have to do without. However, I know that he and DR MBarnum both have nonregional player, but I'm not sure about other DRs.  I await your answer, O lovely Jane.

DR elmore, I have no idea.  Keith doesn't know, or he doesn't care if I watch a ballet ;) cuz he suggested I let Bruce have it. ;D Thank you for the offer :)

Of course tonight I spent and hour chopping ice off the driveway and front steps. So instead of Curves, that was my exercise tonight.

If nursie can't do region 2, I certainly can and since I've never seen it, would be happy to take it off your hands.  I'm hoping nursie CAN do region 2, though.

Your calling me nursing makes me giggle.

Don't click on the link, MR BK.  Don't click on the link.

There was no link in the post.  Believe me, I know it's bogus, but it never occurred to me that getting someone's cell was enough of a scam for anyone to bother, but I guess that's what happens.

Darling Jane, you would know if you had a region 2 player, as you'd have to have specifically bought it from eBay or a dealer who deals in DVD players not sold in this country - in other words, you can't get a multi-region player in the United States, at least not at a store.  However, you can convert your current DVD player by visiting one of several sites that tell you how to reset the code.

And I'm on a diet, hence I don't need no stinking 1,000,000 pounds.

We get attached to many of the pets we know and when they suddenly die it is very sad & painful.  It is more so when the pet is your child’s.  Last night when Bryan went to sleep his, best ever, wonderful sweet Sugar Glider was fine. This morning he woke up and found Monkey, as he was affectionately called, had died.  All Bryan could do was to wrap the little thing up and put him in a box and leave to take a final.  Bryan called us while walking home from school.  He sounded so very sad.  I don’t know if my crying & our obvious pain at the loss helped or made Bryan sadder.  Maybe neither is possible.

;D  Then I'm sure we don't have one.  Enjoy the ballet :)

Guess who I met tonight at a book store that started with a 'B'?

I met Big Ben when I was working at Red Fin Blues. . .
The next night, I sat behind Franco Harris at Dionne Warwick's concert at Heinz Hall.

Who DID you meet?

Well, we didn't get a call from the installer so we won't have a working stove before we leave. But our friend John, who will be doing most of the house sitting while he's here, lining up funding for his movie, probably won't be cooking anyway.

John is a dog person, so I will have to give him an orientation about cats and litter boxes and hurling and playing and snuggling and hiding, etc...

BK, if you want me to make some quick time movies of some of the Brain songs, I need to know by the end of tonight. I can bring them to LA on a flash drive, but just need to know what songs you want.
