And just because it still makes me smile...

My Asian man
Oh, my Asian man
Oh how I love my Asian man
He takes good care of me
And I like his tan
Oh, my Asian man

Well, I had best walk the dog and get some food in me.

Cheers, all!

*Little known fact... The performing arts center in Greenville, SC was one of Shirley MacLaine's favorite places to perform.

Pretty impressive.  And that is the middle-sized concert hall, is it not?

I'm not sure about that.  I know it's in the basement, so to speak.  But Jose would know better than I.

And I guess I better get my buttcheeks in gear and head on down to that big building at 57th and 7th.

Laters...

But you really want to go to Starbuck's, right?

Or M & M's World  ;)

What is the tradional Christmas meal?

Well, this year it will be Honey Baked Ham on Christmas Eve.  Because Rob and his girlfriend will leave early Christmas morning for her family's in Michigan, we're having our big celebration the night before.  On Christmas Day, DH Richard and I will go to 10am mass in Cincinnati and from there, who knows?

Well, you are welcome to drop into my sister's house.  She always has plenty of food.

Well, thank you, DR TCB.  We've been invited to drop into the home of some friends whose kids have flown the coop and whose visits will overlap just 24 hours.  Their son was a student of DH Richard's and their younger daughter was a pretty good friend of Rob's.  The mom is a long-time friend of mine.  In fact, she's on the local school board and made sure that she was the board member who handed Rob his high school diploma.

2 cards I sent were returned.  One I forgot to change the address & it wasn't forwarded.

The other is the same address I've been sending it to for years.  The name of the town was changed, the zip is the same. ::)

..23 der Woodies cooking egg plant casserole for der Brucer's Christmas dinner..

I wish! The only way I get egg plant is to order it out. Egg Plant Parmesan is the only non-meat entree I enjoy.

I don't know if this creeps you out or if you think it's a lovely idea, but Art from Ashes creates works of art from blown glass, incorporating a small amount of cremated ashes from pets or loved ones.

Busy, busy day for me as I shopped and shopped and shopped.  Bought clothes, I did.  Lots of clothes I can wash and wear casually.

I needed a makeover, and I got one.  Hooray.

You know, I really debated about whether I had to add "and that is NOT a euphemism!"  ;)

Has anyone asked BK if the third runner-up in the latest edition of Survivor (China) is related to him?

Amanda Kimmel is her name.

Well we now have confirmation that at least one person ignores my posts.  ;)

Bruce, I have never watch wrestling live, and hope never to do so.  I asked Keith, and he never saw Gorgeous George.  He did however see Freddie Blassie, Mr. Moto, & the Haystack twins-Calhoon & Muldoon.  He made monthly treks to the Olympic Auditorium in '61 & '62.
