I had Italian-buttered sausage ravioli for dinner.
After work, I needed to nap. It's not easy getting up at 4:45am.
It was a very busy day at Borders.
It was also a very happy day - customers, managers, co-workers were all in great, friendly moods, except for the opening manager who said in her morning meeting comments that she's sick and tired of having to wake up at four in the morning and come to work! It was quite a strange meeting.
I got hugs from two very unexpected sources, and one from an expected one. Some things are beginning to show a lot of promise. . .
There's no 10pm showing of SWEENEY tonight, so I'll hit the first available showing tomorrow after the family get-together, which Mum has decided she's not attending. For now. Tomorrow she may have changed her mind again! Her trip for her cortisone shot last Thursday did wear her out, plus that day was cold, chilly and rainy. Tomorrow it's supposed to be nice, so, if she wants to go out, I'm more than happy to take her.
Tonight, I'm introducing her to the joys of A CHRISTMAS STORY on TBS' marathon showing. I can't believe, nor can she, that she'd never seen it.
