You're telling him?  ;)

That's the fun part of being a mom -- telling people what to do -- of course, the trick is getting them to listen/do it ...

Thanks Singdaw.  I know none of this is serious, just somewhat frustrating.  The heart problem has been going on for years & years, this new doctor just decided to run the 24 hour test.

As for Sherlock, I'm being selfish here, I really want to leave Sherlock at home & take the trip with Keith.  The timing is lousy, or we should have done these tests the last time this happened.

We will decide next week if we are leaving him or not.  If not, maybe I'll fly there.  If we drive, that will depend on the weather.  Snow, ice, or heavy rains can close the pass to California.

Tomorrow I'm definitely getting out for some exercise & get those endorphins
going ;D

Dakota, from what you have said before, I believe your dog is in mourning.  Bryan’s remaining Sugar Glider is also exhibiting interesting behavior, even waking up & being active during the day.  Considering Sugar Gliders normally sleep during the day, I’m sure she misses her sleeping partner.

Please post the obit of your father.  I would like to read it.

You know, I totally forgot to mention that I woke up this morning surrounded by police officers.

So you threw on your bathrobe and ran out to the front lawn and sang:

Brave bobby, behave bobby
And change my point of view
People say that I'm a daughter of crime
And I wanna be raided by you!

While visions of uniformed men danced in his head.

Actually, he's a bit more narcissistic; his post said "...assorted me in uniform...".

I'm back (obviously) from a wonderful Italian meal at Coppola's on West 79th Street.  Alice and Cathie are great friends and still raving about "The Brain From Planet X."

DR FJL, where is Skip taking his cooking classes? Alice is interested in checking it out.

When I think of this song, I remember dancing it with Jeff Bridges.  I'm sure he doesn't remember dancing with me ;D

Actually, I'm not feeling bitchy at all.  I've had quite the wonderful day so far here in Northern Virginia.

We made it up here around 11:30, thanks to no traffic on 95.  Once we made it to my brother's house, I went ahead and borrowed his extra car for the day.  Well, it's more like a mini-van or "family vehicle" - whatever the dealerships are calling them these days.  *I LOVE the seat-warmers! :)

I stopped by my old music store, Foxes Music, and did some birthday present shopping for Steve's mother.  She's started playing piano again, and has been looking for some new classical music books to read through.  It's been a while since I've browsed through bins of sheet music, and I somehow resisted checking out the Broadway bins - since I knew I'd probably walk out of there with a stack of books.  None of the regular staff members were in today, but the new guys seem to be doing their job.  -Although, I did assist one young man and his mother when they were comparing versions of "Rhapsody In Blue".  :)

*It was also nice to see a lot of the signage that I had made for the store still in use after all these years - 10 at least!

DR Ron Pulliam - Welcome home!  And even though you had the travel day from hell, I'd definitely say it was more of a "hell" rather than "HELL".  -And, heck, at least you didn't get bumped from First Class - not that would have been HELL.  ;)
