Well, I was wrong.  This may be the year for the Old Fogey New Year's Eve.  The Lovely Wife dozes on my office couch while I tap out little messages here.  We were going to watch There Will Be Blood.  Somehow I don't think that'll be happening tonight.  We've also got a nice freezing rain coming down and Tewkes needs one more walk.

DR JRand - That's very interesting and intriguing.  I wonder if the stoppage will be newsworthy.

Is there a chance that you could just go back and ask to see the final five minutes of the movie? ;)

No....no spoilers please.  ;D  Surely they changed the ending from the stage version.  8)

Well, that chorus of Tap Dancing Meat Pies sure is something to see!

Raining and thundering and lightning here, too, DR CP.  But we expect three inches of snow before morning.

DR JOSE - I doubt it will be newsworthy....time will tell.  My guess is that the staff wanted to go home.

Methinks TCB is in good form tonight.

I hope that means he's feeling better.

I have been watching the Aztec Mummy series.....

To my great joy, I picked up the 50 pack of "Warrior" DVDs.  All those old Hercules, Ursus, Sampson, and Eye-talian muscleman  movies.

We keep forgetting tonight is New Year's Eve-lol.  We aren't doing anything unusual & going to bed early.  I only got a few hours of sleep last night, don't want to repeat that tonight.

The highlight of my/our year, is that Sherlock is moving like a dog his age should.

Well, let's just say that I went into the office today.  Very little work was done by the six of us who were there.

Thank you for the good wishes, Jane.  The same to you, Keith, and little Sherlock.

TAR lost a good team last night.  I was hoping they would be in the final three.  I am trying to find another team to really root for....or one I would really miss if it is eliminated next week.....

Going out in the cold to go to places where hundreds of people are jammed into a small space and made to wait there for hours is taking it's toll. I had the chills all day today and now I have a sore throat. I have take Airborne for 3 days, I am taking large quantities of Ester C and am in my recliner under a warm fleece blanket. I may have to have a big cup of tea soon.

We're trying to catch up on that, too.

I have just finished LOST's finest hour, "The Man Behind the Curtain."  So much to think about, that I do believe I'll hold off on the remaining episodes until tomorrow and plug in GYPSY for my New Year's Eve viewing pleasure.

Attend the tale of Sweeney Todd
The movie stopped so the ending's odd
They said come back on a different day
What happened they haven't permission to say

It cost the theater quite a wad
Did  Swee......
