The logey is one flight up, but the movie's been stopped for technical reasons.

Damn....

So that is the same The Naked Prey movie that I was remembering?  With Cornel Wilde?  Now, that is someone our Mr. Barnum would have liked!

And Mr. Wilde was born in 1915, so almost the right age.  Is breathing one of Mike's criteria?

In our araea, it comes on tomorrow night at 9:30. I've already set the DVR to record it in case I'm busy watching something else, or if I just plain forget about it.

Happily, it's going to be on one of the HD PBS stations! That made me very happy.
Thanks Matt. It's on at the same time here. I just set my DVR

What a partay.  Already to page sixteen, and it's the shank of the evening, oh, yes, it's the shank of the evening.  I would not want to watch There Will Be Blood on New Year's Eve.  Of course, if it's playing with Sweeney Todd on a double bill, the marquee will read Sweeney Todd There Will Be Blood.

What a GREAt combination.

There was a lot of Mr. Wilde to see in that movie, IIRC.

Yep, Wilde was 54 when he made the movie and easily looks ten years younger, at least at the start. By the end, well, he's been through the proverbial ringer.

Hmmm. The commentator on the disc said he was born in 1912 (same year as my father). I guess a few years don't matter one way or another. He looks really great in the film.

Skip is at a party a few flights up.  He says he'll be back before midnight.  I'm keepin' an eye on the vittels to make sure the dogs don't eat them.

I began my evening by checking for AS THE WORLD TURNS. You folks were right: it wasn't on today, and it isn't on tomorrow either.

I am so tired, i want to go to bed!

I just came to hide out in the computer room for a few minutes of peace.

The adults are all downstairs playing the new Wii and screaming (boxing or bowling i think). The kids were up in my sister's bedroom watching Ryan Seacrest.  And it all very loud!

Well my sister's niece just came in here as her punishment (she did something to her brother). And she looked at a picture of BK and said, "who is that?" :)

As I was flipping through channels, I landed on one of the HBO channels that was showing DREAMGIRLS, and I watched through the end of the  the Dreamettes backing up Jimmy Early. I know I had other things to watch, but I decided then and there that I'd be watching the movie tonight.
