Fred, I, too, send congrats to you for THE LAST STARFIGHTER. Is it that many of us missed the post or are you just being modest? I suspect that many of us here like to hear about the show's evolution and success. Would you please keep us informed?

On the war at home, I postponed the exterminator to Tuesday morning once I saw the things to be done:  the bed frame is in pieces, and I'm preparing to cart books which I will be vacuuming before putting into cartons out into the hallway of my floor.  I've warned the neighbors and apologized for the temporary mess.

The exterminator's paper says a haird dryer on high is good for killing eggs and larvae on a mattress I will go down to Price-Wise and buy a $20 one. Tomorrow morning I'll inundate the bed frame with this Spraywat "Good Night."  I feel organized and prepared for the battle but i's a huge ordeal and I'm crabby about it.

In the new issue of FILMS OF THE GOLDEN AGE there is an interview with 1920s/1930s actress Miriam Seegar who is alive and well at age 100...in her interview she mentions going to visit her two sisters at their apartment in NYC's upper westside, and that they had a bedbug infestation at the time.

After watching PERSUASION, Masterpiece Theater’s version, I decided to re-read each of the novels to be shown.  Someone needs to explain to Keith what is going on. ;D

I agree it needed at least another 15 minutes and moved too quickly, as if they were trying to fit as much as possible in the time permitted.  At one point Keith commented he felt Ann would look better with a different hair style.  I said not to worry, as the story progresses she will begin to bloom.  I won’t be giving him tips like that again.

Elmore, I suggest testing a few dryer before purchasing one.  All hand held dryers are not equal, some are hotter than others.  Cheap dryers often blow faster and hotter than a more expensive one, so you may be lucky.

DR elmore-Regarding the exterminator.  If you do your place, and the neighbor's still have bugs, won't they simply move back in?

Hopefully, not if I keep the place vacuumed and the pest control conditions going.
