WARSAW CONCERTO
« on: January 17, 2008, 12:14:46 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were like a concerto in Warsaw, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently playing the MOOnlight Sonata.

That sign now appears in almost all Broadway theatre box offices, and I've seen it enforced a couple of times.

Unfortunately, it seems they're better about enforcing the rule at the box office window than inside the theater itself!    :-\

And the word of the day is: JOBBERNOWL!
"Beware the JOBBERNOWL, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
His box is several Crayons short
And you will suvver from his lack!"

TOD:  to be answered later when my mind is working (as much as we can  expect, anyway).

However, the first thing that comes to mind are the works of Eric Coates in England.

Time to get ready for work.  Much to do, before the remodeling begins!

Notwithstanding anything written by me here on HHW, I mean this truly - happy happy birthday, Noel!

(I may quarrel with some of what you write on the internet, but that's because I think what you think really matters, and I truly admire your commitment to musical theater and artistic standards.  Not to mention what a pleasure for me any time I've run into you in person.)
