I can only say that he's a nice man.  At least he was when I worked at Drama Book Shop.

He is a superb actor. I loved him in the LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy. I loved him in G.I. JANE (best thing in the movie, I thought). He was sensational in A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE.

I began my evening by watching PROJECT RUNWAY. I had no problem with the person sent home, but I had some serious reservations about the show.

1. How many times did Tim Gunn interrupt them when they were trying to complete the project only to dump more stuff on them or distract them from the VERY difficult double assignbment they had been given? I really felt bad for all of them with these interruptions.

2. I DESPISE team competitions. I feel it's totally unfair to one or the other team members, and though the winners of the challenge were acceptable, only one got immunity which seems unfair. It took them both working and agreeing on the designs to turn out two garments.

3. How has Sweet Pea stayed around so long? I did kind of like her dress, but she's a tremendous energy drain on everyone with her emotions. DUMP HER! And I felt bad for Rhani being stuck with her.

I skimmed through AS THE WORLD TURNS quickly. Nothing there today and nothing in the previews for tomorrow.

I watched three more HAWAII FIVE-O episodes. Hope Summers was the guest star in one of them playing a very feisty old lady being held hostage. Nice showcase for James MacArthur.

Another of the episodes (a two part episode) guest starred John McMartin. This must have been right before he went into FOLLIES.

There is one two-part episode left for me to watch which I should be able to do tomorrow morning. I believe Helen Hayes is the guest star in the two-parter. Wonder if she plays Danno's mother?

The SUPERNATURAL rerun tonight was another very gripping episode with a very unique ghost claiming the lives of some bad people. And boy did Jensen Ackles look handsome in that tux!

I finished my evening with tonight's UGLY BETTY (recorded at 8 but watched at 10). A very hyper episode, but I was happy with the trial stuff, and Gio certainly was more agreeable in this episode.

You know, Vixmom, I used to think you were one of the normal people here (relatively speaking).   ;D  Actually, Family of Man is a great idea--thanks!

James MacArthur gives a very poignant performance in the 1958 Studio One drama Tongues of Angels with Frances Farmer.
