Der B, I do believe you are falling in love with a feline. Congrats
Not a first - years ago I was saddled with a crazy tortoise shell kitten which we named Samantha (Sam). She decided she owned me and wouldn't give my wife the time of day. She used to sleep on my sholder nestled against my neck! This was the cat that decided that the quickest way back into the house was to climb up on the roof and scurry down the chimney into the living room fireplace. On our moving trip betwen San Diego and Newport R.I. we spent the first night at a friends house in Westminster CA. Sam decided to have six kittens at the foot of the bed, under the covers, on my feet! The nest week we spent driving across country with Sam taking every chance she had to throw the damn kittens out of the car window - some Mother! Our house in Newport was a large three story colonial. Sam used to climb up on a porch roof, jump to a nearby tree, climb to the second floor and then jump over to the bedroom window where she would howl to be let in.
After Sam, JJ is quite normal.
der Brucer
I did develope an accute allergy that lasted for years - I hope it doesn't return. It was so bad that if we were invited to some one's home who had a cat, I would start having serious trouble breathing within 30 minutes and we would have to leave.
