I have received scores of those over the years and refuse to pay to retrieve them.  If someone is that interested in contacting me, there's a little thing known as Google they can use.  My website is free.  :)

I can't remember when I didn't know West Side Story and the same is true of Gypsy. I auditioned for Gypsy when I was in 5th grade. I didn't get it, but I still loved the show

Those bastard producers didn't tell you it was pre-cast with Merman?

Speaking of daffodils, this coming Saturday is our area's Puyallup Valley Daffodil Grand Floral Parade.  At one time, the Daffodil Parade was the third largest floral parade in the whole country.

In last Sunday's newspaper, The News Tribune, there was a big front page article on "The Decline of the Daffodil Festival."  Ironically, the biggest single reason for the decline of the Festival is The News Tribune.

In the 1980s, our local newspaper family sold the News Tribune to The McClatchy Company out of Sacramento, California.  They immediatelly let it be known that they had no interest in being a Tacoma newspaper.  Instead, they wanted to become a Puget Sound, or at the very least a South Sound newspaper.  In an effort to accomplish that, one of the first things they did was to delete almost 95% of the coverage usually given over to the Festival.  As the years went by, the entire Festival became smaller and less important to our area, because no one knew when the Festival was happening.

And now The News Tribune has the nerve to question the decline of the Festival!

LOL< Actually it was a production at the local community college, but no one told me that the daughter of the English teacher and the daughter of another teacher had the edge for the parts. They got them

Before our class reunion I payed my fee to classmates.  I then sent a bulk email to the class members & received many responses, without their paying anything.

That may be the way Classmates does it, but there are several other companies (i.e. Reunion.com) that won't let you see who wrote to you or what they said, unless you cough up the dough.

George, you should be able to respond to the email without paying.   You pay to send one.  How Double check this.

I'm sure that that was the issue...that I had to pay to find out who it was from.  But I will check it out again tonight.

I was so happy to finally finish A SHOT AT LOVE. There actually ended up being only 10 episodes plus a reunion special episode. The winner was no surprise at all.

The disc also offered about 8 scenes of extended footage (mostly the fights between some of the contestants) and 6 what they called "deleted" scenes but which really were just scenes in the finished show with some too revealing footage cut out. There was one deleted scene where two girls (who ended up hating each other) took a shower togteher early on in the game.

I just channel surfed waiting for 8 p.m. shows to begin. I watched a little bit of GALAXY QUEST (which I have on DVD and really love), some BLACK WIDOW (the Debra Winger version from 1987), and some LAW & ORDER on TNT-HD. McCoy won the case!

Next, I watched tonight's new episode of NCIS. Nice to see the friendly camaraderie back in full flower. Looks like they may be introducing a new love interest for Michael Weatherly. I thought they were going to let him and Ziva get together this season. I guess not.

IDOL:

I didn't think there were any true standouts. I liked a few people, but I didn't think Carly Smithson did herself any favors with her song, and I really disliked Jason Castro's "Over the Rainbow."

Not one judge commented that he got the lyrics wrong TWICE! They all raved about his performance. Go figure!

Bottom three: Brooke, Carly, Syesha with Carly possibly going home.

To Hell with Russ, how about George Chakiris?

He was at one of the Ray Courts Shows in Burbank that I attended.

Wow, your first Bollywood movie! Congrats!

I have not seen it, but had heard both good (wonderful newbie cast and good music, and lots of atmosphere) and bad (tired old story).

Back from a run-through - pretty good, but sloppy stuff still to clean up - performances are coming along fine.

I had another forty orders while I was away (I'm loving these orders coming in regularly).  I was going to print out some more, but the printer ran out of ink, so first thing in the morning I'll go buy more.  I also have to order 1000 cardboard mailers tomorrow.
