I've always had problems with my HHW searches too, DR Jane, with various anomolies.

I went to respond and we lost our internet connection all together, doubling my frustration ;D

Laurie was the narrator from JOSEPH who succumbed to cancer, is that correct?

I didn't know you recorded Half a Moment. That's such a great song.

Yes you are correct

HA!

After all the discussion today, I got a message in my inbox [my first] from reunion.com...

I promptly deleted it!   :)

In the beginning I attempted to collect the "messages" reunion.com said I had.  As far as I can tell no one ever sent me a message except reunion.com. I even sent them an email asking how to retrieve the message they said I have.  I never received a response.   Now I promptly delete their emails.

Last night we began watching THE BIRDS.  Tippi Hedren's character is named Melanie and it got me to thinking.....Bogie & Bacall named their son Steve.  Have any other actors named their children for favorite character's they portrayed?

I know Dawn Paris changed her own name to Anne Shirley, about the time Anne of Green Gables was released.

We had a Little Caesar's around the corner in Michigan.  I presume this is not the same as the chain.

There are probably a million non-related Caesar's around the country peddling pizza.

MEDIUM SPOILER!!!

From Matt H:
Quote
MEDIUM had another fascinating episode.

I have to admit that once we got to the final murder with Patricia Arquette in a naval uniform and the victim saying he had never done this before, I guessed the killer was going to be a gay man.

MORE MEDIUM SPOILER!!!

I began to suspect it was a man once I saw the novels, at which point I knew it wasn't her.  I did appreciate the fact she was narrating the dreams, very clever.

I waited to mention my suspicion to Keith until half a minute before Scanlon walked into the elevator.  How's that for timing! ;D

DR Jennifer, click on the little face at the bottom of my, or any member's post and then click to read their post.  You have options for the number of posts you want to read.

It reads " Show the last (number) posts of this person. "

Did it work?

You can also click on a person's name at the top of their description to the left of each post to take you to their profile, as well. :)

How many words did you search at one time?  I've found that if I only search one word at a time, I'll get better (if certainly more) results than if I try to search a phrase.

Time for dinner.  I'm going to see The Reckoning: Remembering the Dutch Resistance  tonight http://www.orpheumlive.com/events/showEvent.php?p=1&ID=325
It's Tolerance Week here. This time the focus is on the Dutch who hid their Jewish friends and neighbors during WWII.  A lot of us living in this part of the state have some Dutch heritage so it's going to be interesting on many levels.   There will also be Dutch survivors who participated in the resistance here to speak after the film. I'm looking forward to it

I must read more carefully.  I thought you wrote that the focus was on the Dutch who hid from their Jewish friends and neighbors.

I did decide to rewatch ENCHANTED on Blu-ray tonight. Such a lovely, loving film. I watched "That's How You Know" twice before moving on with the film.

After it was over, I rewatched the first 90 minutes of DREAMGIRLS (also in Blu-ray; it was one of the last Paramount Blu-rays before they went HD-DVD exclusively).

I had a few minutes before 10, so I put in the laserdisc of DEEP IN MY HEART. Since I'm expecting the Warners musical box DVDs tomorrow, I wanted to watch a bit of this so I could better compare the quality of the video and audio transfers since I hadn't watched it in awhile.

I'm not reviewing it; just for my own information.

And I ended the evening with CSI: NY. A fire in Stell'a apartment building led to some pretty surprising discoveries. OK episode.

DR DakotaCelt - I have never heard of "snow mold"!   :o

Hope the drug store opens soon and that you soon feel better!

Yes, I am feeling better

Snow mold is the white crusty stuff that is sometimes on the ground after the snow melts..

And just for DR Ron Pulliam... Although, upon closer inspection, I'm not sure they're really azaleas... Possibly a rhododendron of some sort?... In any case...

Pretty flowers Jose!
