I also have had a most lazy day...a 3 hour nap...and just sitting around watching movies....and my first Bollywood movie of the weekend was TANGO CHARLIE....quite a good (anti)-war film which has a splendid cast of Bobby Deol, Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt, and Suniel Shetty.

The two leading ladies are quite good as well, though they are only in flashback scenes.

The musical numbers were fun, also.

There was also a UK revue of Sondheim's music called "Moving On," which was recorded and which I have, and which I recall had interpolated pre-recorded clips of Sondheim speaking. But I can't think of any reason why it would have anything to do with Tick Tick Boom.

I'm trying very hard to finish Jacqueline Winspear's Messenger of Truth, the 4th in the Maisie Dobbs series. It's not my favorite and bears out Richard's theory that authors have trouble with #4 in a series.

Next up: My Home is Far Away, by Dawn Powell, and Still Point (a ballet novel), by Deborah Weisgall.

Possibly some furniture should be stored to accomplish this. Window treatments should be open so light filters in.
Somehow I have a feeling you don’t need much additional work to accomplish this without a professional or with simply a consultation.

I know that staging is "the thing" and it was suggested that I don't move totally out of my house before showing. However, I just have too much stuff...so for me having the house very clean with no furniture in it was the way to go. We emphasized move in ready. I sold both houses fairly quickly

I've been watching for Messenger to show up at the used book store, so far I haven't found it. Since I expect there will be a 5th book, I'll still read it-if I ever find it.

My next book will be small and easy to hold, easy on the wrists.

I have had a nice day. I brought home a painting I bought last week and tried to figure out where to hang it. I chose over the piano and when I got done realized I had a bunch of clutter in that area of the living room so I started moving things. I was trying to decide what to do with my guitar, I haven't played it in ages and was considering selling it WAS because I got it out and played it a little. I decided I need to play it more often. Then I played the piano for a while. I haven't done that in ages either.

I went for coffee with Paul and ended up going to sales at two different furniture stores. I found a great lamp.. so I got it. Well that meant I had to rearrange part of the living room to have a place for it. SO, the painting is hung, furniture has been rearranged and I'm really liking it.

DR Cilla, an empty can be better than having too much clutter. It also helps if there aren't too many "move in ready" homes on the market at the time. Finding the right price also helps sell a house.

Good Evening!

After waking up from (yet another) nap a couple of hours ago, I went ahead and headed out to join some friends for dinner at Pinch & S'MAC. All of us ended up choosing our dinner selections from the S'MAC side of the menu, although there were plenty of people choosing from the Pinch side. Needless to say, a Chopped Salad and a small Cajun Mac'n'Cheese made for a very delicious and filling dinner.

My last house was such a fun bungalow. It was the type of unique house that I knew someone would fall in love with it. We just had to wait for that someone to come along.

The weather here in NYC continues to be on the "cool" side, which really isn't such a bad thing, but... I actually think I want some warmer - hotter - temps soon.

We've had thunderstorms the past two nights, but they've been very late and haven't been severe. The rain in the night is nice, just hope the severe stuff stays away
