And The Randy Vicar wasn't even invited!

Oh, do you know something I don't know? Has Miss Karen been telling you her secrets again?

Because he has a droopy frond!

Not just any pool boy - the one with the enormous frond!

Well, that's the detail I was planning for the juicy parts.

DR GINNY, you mentioned that Gail Godwin is your favorite author. Could you tell me briefly what it is about her writing that you like so much?

I went to bed early last night, slept well, and woke up early. I've had a productive morning. What a difference a good night's sleep makes!! I should try this more often.

But the enormous frond would make such good cover art!

RE: last night's PASSWORD.

I found it sort of disappointing.

I'd never seen the show before. But it is quite similar to one of my old favorites, PYRAMID.

I just found the contestants were not very good.

And i expected the celebs to be better.

I think Neil Patrick Harris was alright. And with more practice i think he would have excelled. I did enjoy watching him.

Generous George ('s Pizza). He's famous in these parts. Jose probably knows (of) him.

Wasn't the full name of the restaurant at one time, "Generous George's Flying Pizza Palace"?  Maybe it still is.  In any case, yes, I know of him/it.   ;)

DR Jeanne - Her characters are so well-drawn.  Also, I have a firm belief that certain writers just "sing" to a reader and GG is one of them for me.  It's not something I can describe or define, but I know when it happens.  My book group was just talking about this phenomenon at our Doris Lessing discussion - she didn't "sing" to any of us.

I will watch the MOLE as well.

I can't say it's one of my favorite reality shows. But I've watched other seasons. And it can be interesting.

Re: THE NEXT FOOD NETWORK STAR

DR Jose, your post about me made me laugh! :)

Yes, it doesn't air here yet. But i will watch it when it does.

For some reason Food Network Canada does not air things at the same time as in the US.

If you're going to mention names or who got eliminated i would appreciate space. Or at least a warning at the top of the message that you are talking about this show!

Darlene Gillespie's actress sister, Gina Gillespie, who was Baby Blanche Hudson.

And unlike a certain Jose, you spelled the surname correctly.
