Der Brucer did indeed give me more DVDs of the classic
Doctor Who stories:
The Time Warrior, which features Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor and introduces Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith, and the box set "Beneath the Surface," which holds
Doctor Who and the Silurians (awkward title, that),
The Sea Devils (both from the Pertwee era), and
Warriors of the Deep (featuring Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor).
This should keep me busy for a while.

The only real problem is in storage - I've been keeping all the Doctor Who discs in story order, and the box set jumps around a bit, containing stories 52, 62, and 131. The only thing to do is take the keepboxes out of their box-set box (which is just paperboard, after all), but the cover illustration on the box is rather nice. I'll just have to figure out some place to store that, specially.
In any case, the discs are loaded with extras, which should be not as fluffy as they would be if the show were USA produced. The BBC Video crew has a good track record on making their bonus materials. (Oooh, here's one our esteemed BK would appreciate: a nine-minute
Now and Then featurette about the location shooting, on the Silurian disc. He should get ahold of the people producing the discs like
Adam-12 and bitch-slap them silly until they make similar featurettes for the discs he's watching - maybe they could get him to produce those featurettes, start a whole new phase of his career!)
