SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY MORNING

Well, you've read the notes, the notes had a little Saturday in them, as well as a little Sunday, and now it's time for you to post until the Saturday night cows come home on Sunday morning - as if.

Well...speaking of "A Wizard of Earthsea" (and who wasn't ;)), the library system that I work for has a program that they call "Timberland Reads Together."  Every year, they have an adult reading program where everyone in Timberland (who chooses to participate) reads the same book at the same time and this year, the book is "A Wizard of Earthsea."  Pretty cool, huh? :D

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Today is international day here, where like 20 different countries each set up stands in the park and give plates of free food.  Last year it was so delicious. Although it's a bit hard because they need to know how to keep their food hot on site!

I wonder if they will be serving breakfast (not) because i am starving.

I woke up early today to watch the Canadians in rowing!  I guess because canada has always done well at rowing that i've gotten used to it. It's interesting to watch.

Yesterday we finally got our first medals: a gold, a silver and a bronze!

Tonight on tv: Big Brother
More Olympics

Happy Birthday to DR SWW.

It is over....Singin' In the Rain has ended its COMPLETELY SOLD OUT run!  We struck the set, cleaned the theatre from horn to hoof, and then had a party and talent show!

I got home at four ayem.  It's crazy that all of the stuff you took to the theatre over the last five weeks has to come home in ONE trip.....

BUT I also brought home something extra....Shelly and I WON the talent show competition....so we now have a traveling trophy!

AND I will read the new book in a few hours, when I get up for real!

I most likely won't be posting or reading until Thursday morning.

But for the word of the day PHILTER, how about for a song of the day:

LOVE POTION NUMBER 9 - sung by the Searchers

From today's notes:

Quote
This must be one of our big birthday months, so it’s time once again to put on our pointy party hats and our colored tights and pantaloons, it’s time to break out the cheese slices and the ham chunks, it’s time to dance the Hora or the Carioca, for today is the birthday of dear reader S. Woody White, who has been around these here parts from the very beginning, and even before that he was a regular reader of The Real A’s columns. So, let’s give a big haineshisway.com birthday cheer to our very own S. Woody White. On the count of three or the duke of four: One, two, three: A BIG HAINESHISWAY.COM BIRTHDAY CHEER TO OUR VERY OWN S. WOODY WHITE!!!

Oh, gosh!  Thank-you!
