Panni, thank you for the personal information.  To our great disappointment we were a few minutes late arriving at the synagogue and they would not let us in even though it didn’t close for another 45 minutes, or something like that.

At least we enjoyed our walk around the outside of the very large building.

ATTENTION!

CAREFUL!

CUIDADO!

THIS IS A JOKE!
It's for fun!
Not to be taken seriously!

Appeared at miceage.com ... recently!

OH NON!

The Walt Disney Company Board of Directors, mindful of the shareholder vote of March 3, 2004, announced that it is merging the Walt Disney Company with the Wal-Mart Company to create the world's largest retailing and entertainment conglomerate, which as of April 1, 2004 will be renamed The WaltMart Company.

Later this weekend I shall watch AWARA PAAGAL DEEWANA (2004), an "action packed comedy."  I hope I can sit through it as I tire of the "action" films from India as they tend to be just like many of the "action" films in America that I have seen recently. Very violent and just a little ridiculous.

But it has Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty, so at least there will be nice things to look at!

They did not let you in because..... your belly button was showing!

That IS the one and only reason! :D

Arsenic?

Now you tell me!  I guess the fact it was a very hot day was no excuse for dressing like that to go to temple.  ;D

Have the plumbers come yet, BK?

Is it now safe to mention waterfalls, rushing waters, rapids, raindrops, geysers, gushing fountains and vast oceans???

Can one light a match in your house without exploding the poopy-doops?

BTW – DR Jane certainly looks too young to be the mother of those two young men!

Absolutely, she's too young!  Look, compare:

Some people are uniquely blessed, and DR Jane is one of the blessed: wonderful hubby, loving children, and looks that suggest her having had those children when she was three.

Well, DRs - Guess what I'm seeing again tonight? I e-mailed a producer friend suggesting that he and his wife see WHAT IF? I know it's his cup of tea - he's worked with Billy Barnes, he wrote for Danny Kaye, Judy Garland - so I knew he'd love it. He e-mailed back that I was very sweet to invite him and as his wife was out of town WE should go. Why not? What if I see WHAT IF? 4 times? ).

Any chance that person is fellow Canadian Bernard Rothman (no relation to Mark Rothman)?

François I think it was a metal sculpture.  We were impressed with it.

George & Matt H, if you saw what I look like at this moment (you can be sure I won’t be photographed  ;D) you would not say such nice things-but it is making my day. :)

Evening all!  After reading about BK's problem I am of the opinion that we might want to start speaking in Klingon.  ;)   My fellow Star Trek fans should know why.

You all were talking about poetry last night and it just so happened that I got a call from a gentleman friend of mine (who happens to be a local poet) to have lunch with him.  Don’t get yourself into a fluff.  He’s just a friend. He’s married.    Anyway, about a year or so ago he wrote his second book of poetry and wanted a certain type of book cover.

He knew exactly what he wanted but didn’t know how to go about doing it.  I offered to try to come up with it using the computer. To make a long story short, he loved it.  He wanted to pay me for my “work”.  Since I have never done a book cover before, I just asked for a copy of the book.  We drifted out of contact and to be very frank, I forgot all about it.

Today he wanted to meet because he wanted to update me on the progress of the book and to check if my e-mail address was the same.  He also wanted to know if I would be interested in doing other book covers and if someone should ask, could he give them my e-mail address.   I said I was open to talking about it but I couldn’t promise anything.  So we shall see.  It seems to be taking a very long time to get his book together so it could be another year or so before I hear anything more about it.

It sounds like DR Jane is doing much better.  That makes me happy!

Has he played your organ?
